lol... seriously this is an argument? Smh. "On sight means on sight" is correct. Why? because the phrase refers to the threat that one "I" see you, you will be attacked. It's not about a location it's about the act of seeing. And the word would be "spelled" not "spelt" (unless you're not from the U.S, in which case it may be appropriate).
