EPIC Surf Fishing- How to catch MONSTER FISH!

Catching BIG fish from the surf! Today, we are using HUGE fishing lures to go saltwater surf fishing in Mexico and it turned out to be a LEGENDARY day of fishing! There are baitfish (mullet) busting everywhere in the surf, roosterfish, and huge jacks EVERYWHERE! I can’t wait to try and catch some big fish with the huge topwater lures alongside my dad and Erin.
This week, we are back in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Cabo is one of my absolute FAVORITE places to fish. I have been coming here for years with my dad and we have never had a bad day of fishing. This might have been our best day of fishing there yet!

Nah the son is just not good at landing. he went into the water which is dangerous but also took his more than 1000 dollar reel and probably 500 dollar rod straight into salt water. He needs to fight the fish on his terms not on the fish’s

@@1overclockedmonkeytekk47 if you catch one any bigger than the 38 I'm not sure a drop net can help! I've seen a couple in the 70lb range come from a pier and the guy caught them both right in the suds.

Perfect time for whipping . In Hawaii we don’t whip when it calm , the fish love it when there’s lots of white water . Check out uncle WWJ whipping with joe . He uses a little smaller rod and gear and catches larger Uluas

Great work man. I can only suggest to wade knee / waist deep where safe (maybe with reef shoes in any dodgy areas) those morning bust ups can have bigger lurkers behind the shoal looking for opportunities. Do that with the biggest cast you got and you may be able to upgrade. Just a mentality I was taught which helped me over the years too.
