Hezbollah Launches 60 Rockets at Israel After Commander's Killing | Firstpost America
Lebanon-based armed group Hezbollah has said that it launched more than 60 rockets at military positions in Israel. The attack comes after Israel claimed to have eliminated Hezbollah's senior commander Hussein Makki. Israel said Makki was responsible for attacking its citizens and territories since the beginning of the war in Gaza. Recently, Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah had said that his group will continue to fight Israeli forced until they stop their assault on Gaza. About 80,000 residents have been evacuated from northern Israel since Lebanon began targeting the region. The Lebanon-based group has been attacking Israel in a show of support for its Palestine-based ally Hamas.
