I random theory I have is that Cinder’s new minifigure is forshadowing his downfall. Cinder might be engulfed in his elemental power which gives him false security making him think that he’s becoming more powerful. But if he uses it enough he’ll die with his power and in an ironic way. He’ll be lost in Kai’s fire.

lego is getting better at designing mechs, the new mechs look absolutely amazing

If you get both the tournament sets you would kinda have all the minifigures. Also that’s probably why you don’t get all the ninja with the temple city because you get the rest of the ninja with the smaller tournament set.

When judging Lego sets, I think it's important to separate the whole set and the model itself. Cole's Titan Dragon Mech, while probably scoring pretty low in the "heroes vs villains" playability department, is undeniably an excellent model. My definition of a Lego set is its focal model as well as any other extra side builds, minifigures and things like that. So with the Tournament Temple City set, the model would be the temple and rock base, while the full set would include the dragon and perhaps the removable buildings to its side.

As a massive ninjago dragon fan there's no way I'm not picking that source dragon it's just to good of a set, it from the looks it might be the best lego dragon ever made

Lego after failing to make the Ultra Sonic Raider for the second time (the first two were souped up sports cars during a more primitive era and they totally can't make one that's better with all the new parts made)

Apart from the 1. and 2. place (which are very close), I agree with your ranking. I wouldn’t even buy the combo thing for 30$. Also, absolutely love how you change the colors in some sets to show what could look better!

I'm definitely excited for the Cole mech. I don't really care about the colors, but when I do get this set, I'm turning that sword into a scythe.

Definitely a pretty awesome wave. Obviously the top 2 sets are the standouts. But in all honesty I'm probably going to pick up all of them.

The all-black Titan Mech does look nice, but I'd rather stick with the formular, too. Plus, it's Lego, you can always get the parts in black and do the replacement.

From what I know , both tournament sets combine with one another , thats why the price of the tournament temple city is not as high compared with the other city sets , cuz you kinda have to buy both of them to have all of them , which is not a bad thing in my opinion.

One thing about the Loyd mech it had an detachable flyer on its back and so far haven’t seen the back side of Cole mech too say if those blades do anything or are part of anything

I feel like the new ultra sonic raider is super underrated. Only thing is that it is too expensive. I’ll probably pick up a no minifigure version. I missed out on the legacy and the Kai one because they were too expensive so I’ll try to get this one

The fact that COLE is alone is awesome. It's like a work of art and for an adult public. IDC about side builds who finish under the rug ^^, and you can order all the minifigs you want for cheap. Open your mind ;) and you will realize that it's better like that. It's baffling me because a lot of people already got figs and can play with/vs the mech, and if not there is Jay's Mech battle pack for a few bucks. Lego realize Ninjago is like cooking, the meal is good but let people choose if they want a little, a lot or no salt with it ^^.

The tournament city temple can connect to the tournament training grounds. If you get the two sets, you get the entire collection of mini figures: Lloyd, Nya, Cole, Zane, Wyldfyre, and Arin from the temple, Kai and Sora from the other. Plus you get all exclusive figs and every main villain. This wave, you really only have to get these two, but I add the dragon too because it is one of the greatest dragons ever done by Lego.

I feel like the cole mech is meant to be like those 18 plus sets with a single figure but in the Ninjago mech style

The fire Source Dragon combines aspects of Firstborn that I love and Jays/ the recent Lighting Dragon which I'm not to fond of, so I'm kinda torn. It's the neck and the lower jaw piece I'm not liking the rest, It looks fantastic but I already have a fire dragon and adore firstborn. So I don't know about this set.

You should change the Nimber 1 place the Cole's Titan Dragon Mech. The temple is having a middle age aesthetics and it doesn't fit to the environment of Ninjago. The dragon is just a bugger version of Firstbourne but some random elements. But her eis the thing. On Cole's Mech the distance between the wing pieces are not that significant, and they can be postioned thanks to the joints there. To be fair I like that it only includes one minifigure. Its like a specialized set that says it was meant for this character alone. Even apart from the story. So it definitely deserves a Number 1 spot.

I SOLVED IT! RAS’S MASTER IS THE SOURCE DRAGON OF MOTION! Since motion isn’t one of the normal elements of the sources, it wasn’t accepted as one. It found Ras, and plans to use him to conquer the Source Dragons. That explains the reason Ras replied to his master, mentioning “We will dominate the tournament of the Sources” or something like that.

This wave is pretty INSANE, banger after banger of a set problem is it's going to be Hella expensive 🫰🏾. Coles Titan Mech is SUBLIME, absolutely amazing, majestic even. The Ninja Team Vehicle is confused, it's a Lloyd vehicle tacked on with other stuff the bikes are poor and the flyer is even worse. It's a poor attempt at another Ultra Sonic Raider/Stealth Raider. I love the blades on the bike, only being 8-10 is fair and a cheap way to get Zane. A wolf warrior should have been included. The tournament battle ehhhhh I don't like it, it looks unfinished to me/too MOCish. It tries to combine aspects of the TOE set that had Karloff and Tunner but it hasn't reached the same level. And there's hardly any playspace lol. The CITY is good but I prefer the wolf dojo and definitely want to track it down and max out the wolf warriors and I still need the Energy cores temple, so it's an ez pass. There's too many ideas and Monkie Kid influences so it doesn't feel like a Ninjago set to me. That new Lord Ras is siiiiiick.
