great to see you back man! loving the new focus. when I found your channel last year, I came for Amazon FBA, but I stayed for the entrepreneurial bits - the mindset, the approach (processes, systems, growth & scalability etc) so I'm happy! enjoying your blog posts.

KZfaq knows what's good, your video showed up right at the top of my feed. Good to see you back brother. I had written a massive thing about depression and the river metaphor but I'm not sure anyone would have actually read it anyway. In short, my secret to conquering a decade of flatline depression was to realise my P&P (Purpose & Potential) - it's a lot harder to stay stagnant once you understand those. And the river metaphor, I've learned that we all tend to think too small ie: which way is the river flowing and are we swimming with the current or against the current - when we can become the entire river instead. One to meditate on. Basically the concept of "making" money, success or happiness are out the window, one doesn't need to "make" anything, it's already there in abundance and just needs to be redirected instead. When I discovered this the P&P and then the river thing, everything changed.

I'm glad to see you doing well and in good spirits. Life can get challenging and sometimes we may lose the sense of self (depression). We are all on the journey to a spiritual awakening. A change in perspective, a rebirth. Changes in perspective can happen gradually or there can be a painful trigger which pushes the individual into facing their true fears. But after this comes something great. You'll be able to see life almost as you did when we were young. Free of judgment and full of curiosity. It is beautiful. Comparable to the feeling of being rich but your not actually rich. You'll still feel pain and happiness but you'll be able to accept that change is inevitable. Acceptance is confidence. Accept that without the negatives you'd never appreciate the positives. Without one there is not the other. We're all looking forward to hearing everything you have to say. Trust. If only you could see the amount of positive change you bring to people's lives. But for some reason we are meant to give and not look for anything back in return. It is the ultimate act of being.

The river in Siddartha is God. He realizes this when he sees that the river transcends time, existing past/present/future -- all places, all at once (the Triune nature of God -- father/son/spirit), and then he realizes that he himself is also God (boy Siddartha, man Siddartha, graybeard Siddartha, all one, separated by "shadows" -- time and the illusory nature of our 3D world -- rather than anything real). As stated in the book -- "No, the potential Buddha, already exists in the sinner, his future is already there. The potential hidden Buddha must be recognized in him, in you, in everybody." Siddartha ultimately realizes the God/Spirit/Buddha within him, and everyone, and the river, and nature, and even a rock, like his mentor Vasudeva did, and when he does, he can see God in everything, and thus achieves enlightenment. Just adding a bit of info to those interested in reading Siddartha.

What were the top 3 things that triggered your depression? Was it tied to the taboo topic of financial expectations? Maybe an unforeseen drop in sales? That would be really valuable to know. What were the circumstances at the time of the shift in your mood? Thanks for sharing Miles.
@MylesDunphy
@MylesDunphy 3 жыл бұрын
no, actually it was triggered by living with a toxic housemate while I was in Aus. I'm a private person and really need a safe home space. Didn't even realize til I left that it was very toxic & that wasn't letting me recover from mum's death. But yeah literally the day after leaving I felt a lot better. The lesson, which I already knew, normally practice quite strictly & should have remembered sooner, is be ruthless in eliminating negative influences & people from your environment. Needless to say I won't be getting into a similar situation again 😂 Anyway hope that helps you understand the situation better.

Depression is usually predominant on wealthier countries with wealthier people. When you are poor and you have nothing to eat, you have no time to think about depression your only thought is not to get fired and hopefully make enough money for food and Bill's, your other thought is where to get a second job and get sleep to do it again next day....

Glad you are broading/branching out a lot of people wont like it but yes i would love to see the switch the problem with crypto and all these financial things you will be aiming to do is you will need capital to start. So i dont think your target audience will be fresh people but more of a “middle” class viewers but yeah it would be great also the self help would be great to do hopefully if you wouldnt consider the utube as another income source sort of i think you will accomplish a lot more in terms of aiding/informing people on whats going on in the world and where the world is shifting through ie nft’s and all that . Glad you are back. My question would be are you still going to sell the amazon course or no? Its just i feel like passive income is the best income of all time. The problem is everyone using Amazon business, encouraging everyone to start Amazon business. In the short run you might make some money. But in the long run you help Amazon destroy the market for every other business. In the end Amazon is going to run everything and this is not for the benefit of anyone except Amazon itself. Competition in the market is good for the consumer, and also the resellers, lets not feed the big bad troll out there that just want to dominate everyone and everything with the monopoly they get. I really don't understand why you would put yourself as a errandboy/slave for Amazon marketing. Doesn't people question if its good that Amazon takes over everything? Bezos is a greedy bitch, and his tyranny should be stopped.
