Hi fi rush’s dialogue isn’t cringe and awkward-sounding because it’s MEANT to be eccentric and “zaney” like a saturday morning cartoon. that’s what it’s striving for. forspoken is trying to come off serious while having just the most marvel-fied cynical humour. that’s why it’s off putting. it’s all about intention and whether you can land your writing as you intended.
