Besides "flac" right next to "320 kbps" doesn't make much sense either... 🙃 However, uploading audio to KZfaq using a lossless format (such as flac) does make a difference and gives a much better result than uploading mp3s (which sadly some people still do). As of today, the best audio quality you can get when listening to KZfaq is Opus encoded at around 160 kbps, which is not too shabby.

@@ALEX-WTF-ds4pe Ok, I don't speak Russian but understand the gist of it :) you could just check for yourself by recording the audio and look at a sonogram, you will see that this does not go over 16kz, which means that this was likely encoded from a lossy format such as mp3 and it's pretty far from "Flac 32bit 320kbps" (which does not make any sense altogether if you care to check the specs of the FLAC format) or you can just delude yourself into believing that the title of the video is accurate. These are just the technical facts and have nothing to do with the music being good or not. So, don't let that prevent you to enjoy the music :) Have a nice day.

The audio is much, much better than on most channels, even within the obvious limitations of YT. Thank you, this old man is getting back to listening to quality music. We started with vinyl and tube amps; home made speakers to high end specs. This quality is like a breath of fresh air in a heavily polluted environment. Don't give up. Even on my budget Wharfedale Diamond 10.0 shelf speakers it sounds like paradise. My ears are starting to relax again. Not all is lost in this digital age.

Yes, it's better, I listen with my SENNHEISER HD 201 and it's perfection, even youtube quality is around 224-256kbps. It's by far better than Taylor's Swift and Billie Eilish albums that they have very hard bass, distortion, flat waveform, closed dry sound and the highs barely can be listened. Even on vinyls of some new commercial releases, that they are very expensive and one friend of mine, listen these from his 5500euros turntable/audio system, sound is so artificial and distorts.

It make a strange remaster adding strange frequencies and increase so much the loudness making flat the waveform, also they use closed or dull bass and drums hit so hard that distorts. When I listened dolby atmos or other platforms hi-res, my ears had something strange then

Though the highest audio bitrate that KZfaq streams is 256kbps, there are still many deceitful services that claim to support 320Kbps KZfaq audio and even lossless quality.

technically mp3 is 64bit with variable bit depth but even if the upload was true the issue here is end user, most are 16-bit pre configured sound. KZfaq needs a lossless flac option

This youtube track sounds wayyyy better on the latest samsung phone that has Dolby Audio. Just Checked with the same USB connected Hi-Res Headphones. Tried and Tested and Compared just now. iphone is not able to play this at higher quality for some reason.

how is it possible that you have this good sound..? do you buy front place? anyway i have to give it its good, get some gear soon, and will be back to listen, but I'm only listen 1/3 of it... see now only listen to 1/6, we see, but damn good. "FLAC 32bit 320kbps"... and it's a youtube video... You sure don't know what you're saying... Being the audio of a youtube video, at best it's ogg vorbis at 160 kbps, with maybe 16 bits quantization if it makes any sensa at all! Yes, the audio quality is very high, but this is just another proof that the quality of the recording and mixing is WAYYY more important than the codec used to store and play the recording.
