He made it through the whole season without a serious injury and improved just an incredible amount in one short season. Losing 60 games as a Spurs fan sucks balls, ngl about that, but couldn't be more excited about the next 10-15 years.

He could become the G.O.A.T when he is finished his career. Been watching the NBA for 50 years never seen anything like him. The soft touches around the basket, the ferocious dunks, the passing, 3 point shooting the ball handling, running the floor, 80% from the ft line, the shot blocking and intimidation. There's nothing he can't do. I'm calling it. This is greatest ever basketball player

I remember being at the airport the day he landed here in San Antonio. The moment he came out that plane and came down those steps he literally look like someone coming down on stilts. 12 first round and 9 second round picks for the next 3 years and a guaranteed top three pick next year and all that cap space . Then you have players that want to team up with wembey already. Mann 2 to 3 years my Spurs going to be a force

This was how Duncan progressed to the finals, now they have encouraged the rookie to know his domain! Know to get hard nosed at the beginning of the season and take those first fifty games, you can rest those players and hopefully Pop has managed that well!

I am thinking that the player that Wembanyama most resembles is Giannis. Comparable ability to drive and finish. Comparable passing skills. Better outside shooter. One wonders how teams are ever going to slow down a 7' 4" Giannis who can shoot. And no, he's not all that "skinny." And neither is Giannis all that brawny. Similar body type that is going to fill out after he matures a bit.

@@aijo2130 By "technical," I assume you mean that he has more moves. Wembanyama has a turnover problem. Most likely that means that once the Spurs start to play in earnest, he's going to be asked to dispense with some of the more ostentatious stuff. The behind the backs, the off the backboard catch and dunks.

An apposing team can olny hope to slow him down. Not possible to stop him. His skill set is way too wide, He can litterally play any position on the court at an eliete level. He litterally has no weaknesswes in his game. Also, when he gets about say 20 more pounds ofmuscke on that body, there will be noone in the game that can stop him.

@@thrivecartuniversity I doubt if he'll be a shut down perimeter defender on quicker guards. And I don't see him playing point center the way that Jokic does. He's going to get heavier as he gets older. 20 lbs is nothing. He'd gain that without the weights.

@Kermit_T_Frog Well I have seen him take the ball from baseline to baseline. I would not count him out as a point center sometimes, if he stay on the same path and avoids any major injuries, he will be a 1st ballot hall of fame. Pray the injury bug never gets him. Sky's the limit for this guy. Oh and 20lbs of muscle will have a huge impact on his game. 30 might be a bit better.

@@misebacha5565 Wemby average 21.4 ppg 1.21 spg 3.6 blocks(leading in blocks) and had more blocks alone than most nba team this year, MJ is special but so is Wemby.
