about 1.5 years ago I came across with you. You increase the spark in me, I decided to visit Israel and after that convert to Judaism. I could not resist about a year ago and went to the Shul, people in the Shul told me its Shavuot and I did not even know what it is. I will have my first meeting with Beit Din in a month or two. If HaShem allows and I finish the conversion, I would like to take one of my first three aliot in your Shul. Thank you Rabbi, I watch you every week.

@Princess Prattle Tales I have not came across with the name Rabbi Anava in the parts of Gemara and Mishna I have read. But snakes behaviour that its not attacking the ant is maybe related to Essav not attacking Yaakov, after Yaakov left Lavan with his family and going whereever he wants to go.

Hi M T. Baruch Hashem ! you've started your journey, it may be long and hard but it will be worth it ! What country do you live in ? If you want to do an orthodox conversion you will have to live within walking distance of an orthodox shul. If you dont already, start to make plans - Hashem will help you ! Did you not have a good turn out today? What? They all went on vacation? Good grief! I am very thankful to HaShem, I do not have that desire! I can't think of one thing that would any longer interest me out there! Why? Because everywhere I look and turn, the only thing I see is what you would expect to see if you were in Sodom and Gomorrah. Now, I can't stand to leave my residence. If only I could live close enough to go to your shiur, I would surely go. Thank you Rabbi, for continuing your lectures. Baruch HaShem!

I'm sad to hear that this will be the last month of your lectures....I look forward to your lectures, it gives me strength and inspires me now I'm not sure where I'll get that kind of affect....thank you 4 all that u do! N yes I feel the same, vacations r just a waste- financially, physically and in every way it's a shame we still follow others like sheeps!

Somehow I missed the rabbi will not be doing anymore online lectures. Is this really true? Is their anymore info? Reasons? Is it possible he can do some occasionally from home? This is very sad news.

@@shariwilson1730 there r many lectures of his online at Torah anytime....but he will still cont to do lectures this is just a break in summer cuz ppl go away....:( cont to listen to his other lectures!

The Health Benefits of HaShem far out weigh the benefits of the ocean air, breeze or the sound of the waves. The study of Torah and the contemplation of HaShem, which is of the highest order, can not be compared to a place in the sun or at the sea. The reason that we associate the sea with feelings of relaxation and serenity, the key word here is "feelings," a tool the yetzer hara uses to distract you from HaShem, your Creator, the King.

I heard another explanation regarding the sin of the spies. They were lazy people who didn't want to work the land or go to war, that's why they preferred to receive the manna from heaven and learn Torah all day in the desert, without having to put effort or improve their emunah.
