Shifting the comma does NOT change the precision of the DATA but only how it looks in the VIEW. This causes a lot of problems when you read Excel data in another program. In that case ALWAYS use the proper ROUND function.

Thank you for your video! Your are the excel master! Just a short comment about inserting/deleting a column or a row: I position my cursor on the Column letter(s) or Row number(s) that I want to insert/delete and use Ctrl+ (control plus) to add a row or a column and Ctrl- (control minus) to delete them.

Thank you very much for the video. I tried to change the cell format of decimal value from text to number but not working.I tried in different ways by checking in th Google but no use.Not sure how to change, please let me know if you could help me.

Here is one way to do it. Select any blank cell in your workbook and copy it (CTRL C) Select all the text sells and go to Paste Special (CTRL ALT V) Now select "ADD" option to add the blank cell to your text data. Your text values become numbers 💥

answer the question: chandoo, I want you to look into this problem. I want to find & replace multiple entries at a single click. example: let's say in C2, C3, C4 the entries are IT Trainer, SoftSkill Trainer, Technical Trainer. I want to find & replace them all into employees in a single operation. Can I do this? in find & replace. Give me a solution to it. Thankyou

You can't do this easily unless you resort to either formulas / powerquery or VBA. A simple manual solution is to first Filter your table to the rows you need to replace Then select all the cells Now type "Employee" in one cell and press CTRL+ENTER to replace the value in all visible cells.
