Things the peoples who watch pass that ass say while sourcing. That reeks of assness, oh God, more ass. What in the booty bump is all this ass today? That even looks like ass! Maybe I should get it, ugly sells….how much is it? 12.99?!! Geezus Goodwill your prices suck ass. Every single time.

It's good to see unfiltered sourcing like this. It gets discouraging to rifle through three or four times as many shirts as this and still come up empty-handed. I feel like I should be finding more. I do have days where the heavens part and angels sing, but this video looks very typical of my sourcing experience. If I could flip Sonoma and Van Heusen at Goodwill prices I'd be a millionaire.

Vintage Disney sells well for me. I sold an anniversary hoodie a while back and hung it outside my back door to air out before shipping bc I hadn't washed it which I always always do but I'd just gotten it and it seemed super clean. Soo I forgot all about it and the next day we had a big snowstorm. Shirt blew down off my deck and was literally and I mean literally buried under a foot of snow. Went to ship it the next day, freaked out that I couldn't find it anywhere. Cut to me with an actual shovel, ecstatically uncovering the sweatshirt, frozen stiff. Banged it on the floor so I could crush it up enough to put in the washer. It came out great. The end. The life.

I absolutely love this format of video. It was not boring at all! I would actually watch it every week because it’s really cool to see you thrift and explain some of the vintage tags and just to see what you end up seeing. Plus it kind of makes me feel like I’m thrift thing, which I’m not at that moment. Also I’d love to see videos if you do suits, slacks, t-shirts or any other men’s stuff. I love your content.

I LOVE seeing the unfiltered sourcing, and learning all of the Ass brands. It’s good to know what to look for, but I think it’s even more helpful to know what to pass on. It saves so much time at the thrift.

Also, I think my new BOLO is Corduroy jeans, I didn't think they were in style but found a levi's one and bought since my goodwill keeps them with dress pants, which are only $4 instead of $7 for jeans. I was stunned at how much they sold for and mine sold in 24 hours about $10 more than I was anticipating when I bought them. The sell through on used ones is pretty good across all brands.

So many videos just show the wins portraying an unrealistic expectation about ALL this great stuff at the thrifts when in reality there’s a lot of a** brands (love that term) that you have to sort through. Thank you for the reality check and wealth of info (including those to pass at the higher retail prices but still a good pick up at the bins).

I need to learn more keywords and some more of the basics about different types of collars, sleeves, etc. Thank you for producing important content that helps.

Ok Junk Monkey story time. Just finished part one. I had to chuckle as you talked about the ripstop fishing shirts. I'm wearing one as I type this. I was in the GW going through the men's jackets at warp 9.2 when an all over print spell out champion windbreaker with snap buttons stopped me in my tracks. As I'm looking it up to see if it was worth the $12.99 (it wasn't, comps out at $20-25) This kid on the other side of the rack (feel free to read this in the most stereotypical California beach bum pot head voice, because that is exactly how he spoke) says to me "Duuuuude , you wanna know sumpthin?" I look over at him and say "Sure" he said "If you find one of these um shirts and it says Made in Italy, it's worth a loooooot of money" to which I reply "Unless it's Alfani, what do you thinks of this jacket" I held it up , he got very excited and said "Duuuuude that is GOLD!!!!!" I asked if he wanted it and that seemed to confuse him. He asked if I was kidding and I handed it over the rack to him. He shuffled off to the front as fast as his cannabis soaked brain cells could motivate his feet to the front to pay for it and leave. lol I hope I didn't get too deep into his fun money.

Fun series. I would have grabbed the Mountain Hardwear polo just because of the brand through, hurt to watch you put it back! It's interesting to see what you would pick up at the bins. Lots of stuff that makes my "ass" list (Landsend is particularly shocking). Is that because you quick flip it to stores? Or do you sell it on ebay?

Did you lift those glasses off of Clark Kent? Dude I’m getting a pair of those, they are awesome. I have a tiny head lol so I’ll probably have to do the elastic around the back of my head to keep them on, adding to the poindexter -esque vibe I’m sure to be giving off. Can you get those in X-ray vision too? Do you know? Great video, was a fun watch. You should start a weekly series. “Spy glasses, ass, half ass and what an ass.” The latter being a bit like the people of Walmart but of course it would be the people of the thrift. Little clips of the average thrift store loitering odd balls we all see out sourcing.. thanks for all your hard work to help us out😊
