I know exactly what she means about having to store these in a plastic bag due to the strong fragrance. I'm always on the lookout for softly scented products and I always come back to only a few very few regular items and the rest are coming from health foody type sources. skip all this shit and start investing in some essential oils. You can buy them at dollar stores and other retailers. The bottle may cost up front but you use it to make things that are scented the way you want them and to the intensity you want them. You can even blend them for more variety. with essential oils there is much less scent clashing, it all goes together better. So anyway if you like these scent beads or if you need to use them up you can dissolve them in a spray bottle (tablespoon or so in a 32oz bottle) and make your own febreze, add dish soap to make a scented multipurpose cleaner. Yes as prev stated you can add a bit to every trash bag or put them directly in the can underneath the bag so it doesn't go out with the trash. Yes as prev stated you can also use as a carpet fresh or leave some in the canister of your vacuum. Dissolve them in your carpet cleaning solution to fragrance the floor after you shampoo. You can pouch some up in a coffee filter and staple it shut then leave them in dresser drawers, clothing storage, suitcases, etc. If you really like fragrance and you want another resource for adding scent to anything check your cheap perfume section of your dollar tree. It won't be designer quality scent but it will be in the ballpark of something trendy, and it might be crafted to a better standard than household fragrances because they are meant to be worn on skin. And if you can stand to wear something around all day then why not add a few sprays to your kitchen mop water?

The aroma boosters can be mixed with a little water in a small spray bottle and used like the Poo-Pouri spray for the toilet. It works and is alot cheaper.

I love these!! Never had a problem with them dissolving in the washer and I heard that the dollar tree aroma boosters are exactly downy unstoppables but they are the “misfits” the imperfect shaped ones they didn’t want to use!! Still trying to find them at my DT to stock up!! ❤

The Shea shampoo is a total win. It is a scent dupe for Angel by Thierry Mugler, an eau de parfum I wore for years. The texture looks like Softsoap hand soap, but the results are lovely. The whole line of products worked well for my curly hair (3c curls).

Cruise Hack: you can use the Unstoppable beads to add a scent in your luggage if they got a bit musty during storage. And the same small amount of the beads can be placed in your cabin's bathroom to act as a room freshener. Put beads in an odd sock or small mesh pocket. The beads are strong so just use a small amount of beads for this hack. 🚢

Fun fact: those unstoppable dupes aren't dupes, they're actually unstoppables. The company either has too many that didn't sale in the store (maybe approaching due date?) so they send them to the plant that packages dollar tree stuff. Sometimes the company has them mixed up ( the purples mixed in with the teal ones) and since they can't sale them as "Unstoppables Pink " or "Unstoppables Teal" they put them in the same container. That way Downy is not loosing money actually, they're selling more of the same stuff because most people , like myself, don't buy just one bottle. I sent an email to Downy asking if they were one in the same and they said yeah. It's just like when a big store has too many of X they send to a cheaper store and more people buy more of it at the cheapo store.

I put a Tablespoon or less if desired of the product into a spray bottle with water and use it on: carpet, furniture, bedding and trashcans. Just shake it up, the beads will dissolve. I've also used the spray in my car. Makes everything smell so fresh. Works so well for static electricity in the winter months. Thanks for the tip, I'll look for the scent booster @ dollar tree!

I've done this for years, too. I add some baking soda for freshness and a tiny bit of rubbing alcohol. I spray everything with it. My house always smells amazing.

Hey Vivian, they used to be for holding up stockings. They were attached to girdles and coursets in th 1900s'. 😅😅 you can use them to hold little kids shirts down and pants up.😊

I got the DT mattress straps because my silky sheets kept slipping off the bed at the corners. They work great. They held up all night and are not really hard to use at all. I was pleasantly surprised.

The fitted sheet straps from dollar tree are not too bad honestly. That button design is actually an older design. You just button the sheet corners through and slide. Holds better than some of the metal clip ones. The ones from TJ Max look like they would work well too.

I have successfully used the Dollar Tree bedsheet grips, and they work AMAZINGLY!!! I have an extra thick mattress and topper and I'm constantly moving around as I'm a very restless sleeper. Not once have I ever had one come off. I've had other types of sheet grippers and they have never worked like these. Sooo I definitely recommend these!!! 😊😊😊

I've used those kinds of clasps before on garter belts so I know they can hold, but how does the grip stretch all the way across the width of the bed? They don't seem big enough to span anything other than a twin.

The downy unstoppable dup is the same product I heard, they just package it differently because it is not nicely shaped the way the brand likes it to appear, therefore they sell it at dollar tree for less.

The dollar tree bedsheet grip is an older garter (think hose) or suspender style clip. The fabric lays flat between the “button” and the “loop” and you gently push the button into the larger loop area and slide into the snug area. They work just fine.

I LOVE watching all of your dupes and you're usually right on the money! You're also right that every DT does not carry all the items. I know because there are 6 in the routine areas I shop in! I started using Cetaphil when my manicurist started using it on me and that same jar lasts me 4-5 months so I will definitely give the DT dupe a try. The scent boosters are amazing!! I haven't done a load of laundry without them for years!! I used to spend the $$ on the downy ones until I found the dollar tree ones... They are 100% dupes (I've heard they are actually downy - the ones that don't pass the downy standards). I always stick up when I see them!!! (Little word to wisebtho - dont store the plastic scoops in the containers, the beads stick to them like little barnicles ... Lol). .

I heard the exact same story. I’ve always bought downy ones until I found the DT ones and haven’t bought Downy ones since. I also believe they’re really Downy. I compared them to and they smell and look the exact same except there a slight thinner. I love them though. The pink and greenish/blue ones are my favorite. I’ve never had a issue with them being left on my clothes yet.

I purchased the dollar tree fragrance beads. Another KZfaqr said that they are actually Downeys flagrant boost, but irregulars so it’s a mix of fragrances in one package. For $1.25. It’s fine by me I have no complaints. They are not overpowering and they do make the wash smell better for longer.

Hi Vivian, I looove them and been using them for months. They don’t stay on clothes I admit that’s exactly what I was afraid of. Vivian, yes I use the scent boosters I like the scent. They dissolve completely, have used them for years these are not fabric softeners. The dollar tree style sheet grippers do work with fitted and flat sheets. Maybe not with the ironing board pad, since it's thick.

@@danielle6235 thank you so much hopefully it'll get better or at least easier. . . .wouldn't mind the situation im in if it was just me but I've got kids so it stinks right now long story short im disabled lost my home can't get on my feet with the prices going up on everything heck here in Cincinnati your lucky to find a 1 bedroom under 800 a month I get ssi 914 a month so we're in a hotel right now. I'm just grateful were not on the streets oh I also have 2 service dogs with us.

I ❤ these things, I put them in my plug in air fresheners mixed with olive oil. I put them in a ceramic bowl w the oil and place it in the oven for like 10-15 mins. Stir them around with an ice cream stick. Grab a SMALL funnel and pour on ur EMPTY PLUG INS. Ur welcome. ENJOY UR STELLAR SAVINGS 😊

Gotta say, the Welly bandages are one of the only brands I can use because the adhesive in most others bothers my skin. If the knock off is the same that would be amazing.

The Unstoppable dupe at DT is dead on exact. They are very hard to find at Dollar Tree now. I like the mix of all the types of Unstoppable dupe at DT.

That specific knock-off version of the scent booster you showed is my favorite! I’ve bought literally wholesale cases of that scent booster cause it’s so good as a dupe for the gain or arm and hammer ones.

I picked up the fabric booster in sandalwood. I heard they are just the irregular shapes of the unstoppables. They have always devolved in the wash. The cetaphil dupe also has the face wash. The blue bottle. There is an Olay lotion dupe. It's nice but the scent doesn't last long. ❤❤❤ your videos!

I used to use sheet straps like ones from Dollar Tree. There is a loop and a button. You put the sheet between them and then push the button through the loop. The best example I can give is if you were wearing a jacket with snap buttons and you accidentally snapped your shirt into the button. They work like that. The one difference is to lock it instead of snapping you have to slide the button down to the smaller opening on the loop.

The straps for your sheets can also be used as a stirrup for pants so your pants don't ride up in your boots.

Yes,tmi but the dollar tree sheet elastic reminds me of the old days when female supplies didn’t have sticky pads. We had to wear feminine belts. The ends look familiar I just had to share🤪My common sense filter is broken🙄

I have bought 15 of those scent containers in around 4 scents. I make my own laundry soap (1 batch lasts 1 year) and I put 2 containers into each batch. I have never had them not melt even on my fastest 28 min. wash cycle

I've used both kinds of grippers and I like the dollar store ones better. The others don't have the grip that will last a long time. I've had the dollar store ones for years and they still work.

I love the scent boosters, especially for my turkish towels. The scent just makes my laundry and sheets smelling so fresh. I have been looking for the larger DT dupe but no luck in 3 stores so far. I did buy the small bottle of their dupe tho. Added it up and 3 bottles of DT add up to the 16.00 name brand. Love the items and presentation of your items ❤

I’ve never bought the name brand scent beads bc they are so friggin expensive. I tried the DT ones in the blue bottle & love them! BUT the stores in my area have been out for MONTHS! I even put them in a dish in my closet & they work way better than an air freshener. DT needs to do a better job at distribution bc I rarely find anything you or Do It On a Dime feature. Oh! Costco has big bottles of that Shea shampoo (coconut formula) for $17.

Hey hey Vivian tries! I love the downy unstopables. I use it all the time and it smells amazing! I’ve never had any issues with the beads. It dissolves every time. Even in cold water. 👍I also make my own spray. 🤣

I love the laundry scents. Not sure what my sister-in-law uses, but I have clothes she gave me 4 years ago that still smell good. Even after I washed them. I like that for bedding and towels.

After checking with my veterinarian, I put scent boosters in the cat litter Box. It takes the ammonia smell out of it And every time the Kitty scratch it smells good

I've actually heard somewhere else on another video that they're Downey rejects their wrists formed or Miss shaped and Downy rejected him and made them into those bottles.. sorry I can't quote who's video it was but I love you VIVIAN❤❤❤
