He wanted to get back at Howard Wolowitz by combining his degrees of theoretical physics with engineering and Sheldon has more confidence and Howard Wolowitz did because all he did was freaked out when they launched the shuttle and he freaked out even more when they landed back on Earth which is why how we got kicked out a NASA for it that and almost exposing himself literally in front of NASA

This film changed my life in ways that I'm still finding surprising today it gives me an entirely new look it's the way I see a woman of color I see them as the smartest beings on our planet for that I thank you each and every one that played a part in this movie.

I hope the amount of people praising this movie for Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) overpowers the amount of people trying to sink it because of it being "too pc", Im geniuenly interested in the story and love everything aerospace related :)

I loved this movie! It's amazing how much math work they used to do by hand and how much they achieved with what we would consider today to be very simple technology

Just saw this movie again. And honestly I think Janelle Monae said it best: "...a heroic, incredible AMERICAN story." Not black, not woman, AMERICAN...this includes EVERYONE. You don't get any more UNIFYING than that.

To observe, these womens feat was even bigger than shown. All these here were mothers and wifes. All were very active in the neigborhood activities, alike church, girls scouts, propaganda to get girls and blacks to attend good schools and especially science and maths... Etc...

Computers was not originally the large unit that took up a lot of floor space. Computers were the people calculating the numbers which was predominantly women. Pharrell was wrong.

He's talking about the Hardware NASA used, not their Departments regardless of the names used. And the room where those IBMs were installed were not called "Computer Rooms." They were called _Data Processing Centers_ following the name of the computing machines, the _Data Processing Systems._

Naca / Nasa recruited eagerly every female around whom could advanced math or fysics, to be one of their living computers. So there were hundreds of them women, white and black... These whom werent already living near, did of course moved there to keep the job... It was a good job for a woman.

This movie exemplifies a time when our country refused to grow up. This movie is about the courage and tenacity of three incredible American women who were pioneers for equality and the advancement of all women in mathematics, engineering, computer science, not about expanding one person's career in a make believe world. Get that straight.
