I meet up with @ out 2 Adventure and we head up Angus place trail before meeting up with @unpro adventures at black fellow hands cave, we head out to a great vantage point for a camp and then head over to Dargan dam for a swim the next day.

Really great video Shad, from the wheeling, to the location footage and how good was that charcoal starter scene!! Time lapse and music worked well and the drone footage was awesome. Wished I was there!

@@shaddonaghue I did it on the June long weekend this year (2021). When my ute was about 3 weeks old. It wasn't too bad although I did the last couple of kms in the dark and managed to crack the front bumper on something, so yes it possibly is worse than I thought it was! haha

Great vid. Will have to hunt the lookout and the dam. Thanks for trimming the tree a good distance back. I'm confused every time I come across one where someone cut it vehicle width + 3mm. Grateful to those who clear well for people like me who can't.

Another great clip bud 👍 We’ve been into that dam but never actually walked right down to it.....I think you can get in to it ‘this side’ of the railway line too, I’ll have to go check it out, looks like a great summer day hang on place 👌 And if it makes you feel any better, I prefer the exhaust note of the 4.5 ltr 😉👍

Thanks for watching mate, good swimming at that dam and also if you walk down to the bottom there are a few relics of an old pump house and stuff, I believe it was for the steam trains. You should hear the 76 now i just had a remap done 💪💪

Yeah I don’t have gps coordinates , i just know how to get there , its off blackfellow hands trail just after the Spanish steps turn off. Just be careful up there at the moment its very wet and people can’t get through. Maybe let it dry out a bit if it ever stops raining

Another beautiful spot Shad, nice work! Does the idrive make much of a difference, have been thinking of getting one for my Cruiser, a few people have told me not to bother, mines a DPF model.
@shaddonaghue
@shaddonaghue 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching mate, i like the idrive as it makes the throttle response better, doesn’t give you any extra power. I think it is worthwhile. I definitely notice when its turn off which i do for off-roading.

It's really difficult to understand the whole camping anywhere scene. You have to camp at camping grounds in national parks etc but on all 4x4 shows people find secret spots and just do it. Im always scared to do so cos of fear of the 'mysterious ranger' popping up and fining me. So what's the deal with that. Can a person camp at a secluded spot while looking after the place regarding litter and putting out fires and leaving the place as you find it etc and not get in trouble. How does it work
@shaddonaghue
@shaddonaghue Жыл бұрын
@@BloodClut as far as i know you can can anywhere unless there are signs stating otherwise, this spot was state forest but atm national parks are taking over so it could change, i mainly choose state forest for the freedom of being able to camp anywhere. National parks are becoming a little hard to deal with , especially with all the booking process now. Cheers mate
