After looking up the songs from Wish to see if they were any good from a musical standpoint. I began to feel a little icky about the lyrics in a few of them, but I couldn’t figure out why at first. When taking a closer look, I started to notice the eerie New Age messaging, and it quickly became more and more obvious. I started thinking “I can’t be the only one seeing this, right?? I haven’t seen anyone else talk about it.” A few minutes later I found this video. Very well done pointing out all that and so much more!

the undertone of this movie, is the King is a evil tyrant, who decides who gets what, and does not grant the wishes of everyone. So what Disney is trying to make the Most High, seem unjust, and showing favoritism, but if you believe in yourself, you can make all your dreams come true. You don't need the Most High, similar to what the Law of Attraction teaches.

Excellent video! I was a child who grew up on Disney and made my first trip to Disneyland in 1962. But I made my good byes to Disney long ago, because they do not honor the values, vision and purpose of their founder. Once Walt's death occurred in 1966, and then Roy's a few years later, the purpose changed. But isn't that what Satan does? Kill, steal and destroy? I cannot understand why people are still taking their children to these movies! They need to wake up! And there are some who think that they are changing back to Walt's vision because they postponed Snow White...nope. They are so deeply embedded in Satanism, they will NOT give it up. God save these children!

Oh my word, thank you for this video!! I’ve seen so many people talk about the parallels between the King being a communist/Marxist leader and his kingdom being enslaved, so much so that people call this film “conservative”, but barely anyone is talking about how the King looks so much like a God figure and Asha is someone who is fed up with Him. There’s a song in the movie sung by King Magnifico, who’s supposed to be the villain, that has so many Christian references to God, it’s kind of insane. I’m not gonna go crazy with it, but I want to point out a couple really quickly. One of the lines in the song is, “I’d give the clothes off Benito’s back if you really needed that, and I’d be the first one to volunteer Henry if your home were to crumble or if you were in trouble”. The first time I heard those lines, I immediately thought, “it’s just like when Jesus calls us to sacrifice for the sake of another person.” Another line that stuck with me is, “I clean up all your messes and I’m always there when you need to vent”, similarly to how Jesus always shows us his mercy and helps us fix our own mistakes, and is waiting there for us to talk to Him in prayer. The last line I really noticed was, “You know I’ve always got your back, really though it’s no sweat. I’ve been here since the day you were born and the day that we met”. Like…WOAH! That blows my mind how closely it sounds to Jesus! As if He’s saying “I’ve been here since you were born and since you decided to give your life to Me.” What I cannot stand about it, though, is that they wrote this song as if Jesus is narcissistic. As if He’s a bad guy for believing He deserves respect, honor and praise for all He’s done for us. You can 100% have narcissistic villains and bad guys who think they’re in the right, but this one screams “we’re trying to subtly mock God” so loudly to me. Thank you again for covering this movie. I’ve been a long time Disney fan and I hate to see them killing themselves by ridiculing Christianity. This movie in particular is one of their worst.

In every movie in this world, they evil character is like God and the hero is defying the villain. In Isaiah it says Woe to those who called good evil and evil good. The devil is trying to portray God as the bad person and him the good person and deceiving people. Sadly if you don't read the word of God then you'll get caught in the deception. The devil is using these form and types of entertainment to deceive and separate ourselves from God our creator.

The problem is that lots of people in the US are being told what to do and what to believe by parents and other Christian people but not others. Practically brainwashed. It’s so sad how many people are deceived my cousin who is non Christian went to see this movie with her daughter who survived cancer her grandmother is a woman of God and Jesus healed her granddaughter from cancer but it saddens me that my cousin doesn’t even thank God for healing her daughter she is still worldly but I hope many will see how good God is ❤ and they repent and turn to him

I saw this movie last week, with all the Biblical commentaries in mind, and I didn't see king magnifico or magnifico as a representation of Jesus. Jesus was not narcissistic, He didn't practice witchcraft or was a warlock of any sort. That is what magnifico did and who he is, so comparing Jesus to this animated warlock is blasphemy. Jesus used the Holy Spirit to heal and bring ppl closer to God, that is NOT what magnifico does, and frankly, I find it offensive hearing that my Lord, Savior and King is being compared to an animated warlock. I understand that much of what is said/done/shown in this movie is blasphemous, bc we are NOT all stars, we aren't flawless, etc, but it feels like many are reading too much in between the lines that it hurts their message of the gospel. This cartoon movie is NOT portraying our Lord in a negative way, unless you are saying that our Lord practiced witchcraft and was a warlock, which is blasphemous and a sin. So please think about what you're saying/doing something and getting all the facts before you start making these kinds of videos with those kinds of messages, bc it is showing a blasphemous view of our King. Not all the movies are about blaspheming Christ. Just sayin'.. but do be careful of what you see and expose our KIDS to. And be the adult, explain those foreign concepts to them in a Biblical way and help them build their relationship with Christ, that's all.

Can somebody explain the concept behind this movie to me? I mean the wishes, why are the so important to be kept by Magnifico in the first place. He clearly did not use them as power as he "learned" he could do that only after he is already possed by the evil book. Why did he take out the book in the fist place? There was no real threat to him. It just feels so forced like, plot needs to move forward so things need to happen. Why did he have an "evil layer underground" when it was established before that he never used the buck and only keeps it for unspecified reasons (which is very stupid btw if it has a curse on it that can not be broken) The said the curse can't be broken but when he was inside the mirror it seams like he was "normal" again, so wtf movie

I like some of the points you made but I have a huge ick about this. I just can’t explain it. What would you rather they had done??? Make it about god? And wishing on a star was a thing from many of Disney’s movies before Walt’s death. Edit: 1:27 you say that the point is so that everyone’s wish can be granted but no the whole point is so they can have their wish’s back. Not so they can be granted but so they can at least have them to cherish.

This and the repeated Disney Song Theme of "Wish upon a Star", has been subtly added year by year! It's like how Satan (most likely through culture, and now hollywood) presents something shocking at first. Then the shocking thing is pulled back slightly until it becomes normalized. Then, it presents something even more shocking than the previous one, so that the previous one doesn't seem so bad. Thus, Disney has been carefully planning this steadily for years! Sadly, I don't think Walt Disney would have wanted to go in the direction the current Directors are going these days.
