The Hidden Pathway.
Only those brave enough to face their own shadow, might find it. It's the path of becoming aware of the inner barriers and false beliefs about oneself. It's embracing your dark side and realizing that it's not who you are, but still a part of you. This part of our psyche can be very uncomfortable to acknowledge or feel. But if you listen closely you might just learn that there is something it's trying to tell you.
Sometimes for me it's a part of my inner child which is hurt, and in front of that child has arrived a big demon/ protector. It comes in the form of a critic, but can take on many shapes. Learning to live with this part of yourself is a great, scary, tough but so worth it endeavor. It opens the door to your truth. Recognizing that you have to learn to be empathetic and loving towards your inner child, but also taking control of its demonic protector is essential.
Because that's when YOU can take care of your younger self, instead of being lived by an unconscious pattern that negatively affects you. It doesn't mean the protector/demon is bad, after all it has/had a function of keeping you safe. But the way of doing it might have become outdated.
And it's up to you to create a way of caring for yourself that benefits you in all ways.
