With Sven's find count at 467. When I found my 468th find today I made a special note in the logbook in memory of this great geocacher. I also chose a suitably creative geocache for this milestone. Lost but not forgotten!

I come back to these vids every now and then, I didn't know Sven but watched every video. He replied to all the questions I had when I first started Geocache. I dont know why but I get emotional every time I come back to this channel. My love and best wishes go to his family.

So sad to hear of him passing away recently. Its been fun to watch his videos. He had some great videos and great cache ideas. The geocaching community will certain miss his videos and his excitement for the sport. RIP. Sven. This is from a KZfaq watcher from the US. Thanks for what you have done.

This channel inspired us to start making Geocache videos. We were late to the show, so we never did get to watch him back when he made them. But my wife and I used to binge watched these videos, and we still come back to rewatch some. Thank you for being a major part of the Geocaching and Geovlogging community. We all miss you.

So I found out about geocaching last week by watching your other channel. I told my 8 year old son about it, and on both Saturday and Sunday, we went out and found a couple caches. It's hella fun and some much needed exercise for me! :-)

the owner of this youtube acount and he had a motorcycle channel he rode a ktm and so do i he died a few years ago in a house fire and his wife took over his geocaching acount RIP seven war gunna miss you man :(

I don't think anyone knows for certain how he died except personal friends and his family, all we need to know is he is gone but won't be forgotten, R.I.P Sven :(

Back again with a heavy heart, as before I did not know Sven, well.. no thats not entirely true, I do know him I just was not fortunate enough to have the joy of meetimg him, each time I come and watch his videos I feel so powerless to not be able to have helped him to be here today but also joy that I even found his videos, he was a really nice guy who replied to me whenever I was asking a question, we both love motorbikes 🏍 Geocashing and dogs. I always come back to this channel with all the hope in the world that a newly filmed video of Sven out and about geocashing has been uploaded. My love goes out to all his friends family and dogs.

That is incredibly sad to hear that he passed away.... I've watched so many of his geocaching videos and just signed up. Plan to find my first geocache this weekend. I will certainly dedicate it to him.

@coydog696 Yes he was killed in a house fire. Locals say he was having some hard times so it might have been suicide.

where I live, putting that much money into placing a cache 10$ + price of the nana 4$ wouldnt be worth it in such a public place. Our local muggles would find that and take it just for the fun of it.
