My favorite moment has to be that the video didn't spoil the B2/W2 Champion. 2 things: First, I think the main characters of the music video is a shout out to the two protags from Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee. Old video, but I rewatched Acacia again for the feels, and the lyrics hit so hard even if there's not a single reference to Pokémon. The movement of the animation and the timing of the lyrics also mean a whole lot, it's insane how much work was put into each frame of that video. It's why I love Pokémon so much as a series, it's immaculate. Fun fact, the reason why Blue has Venusaur is that Japan's release of the original games was actually Red and Green, and his name was Green in those games. Also, at the beginning of the MV (0:28 in this vid) you can see a character behind the male MC- that's Rie Matsumoto, the director of the video! You also see her during the end credits, although it's from behind the couch this time. It's a nice nod to how much work she, as well as all of the animators at BONES INC, put into this video.

I went by frame by frame for some parts of the video too, in particular the Mewtwo vs Selena and the Sw/Sh protag vs Leon! I have to say those 2 parts were my favourite and were beautifully animated. The "high" part of the chorus also hits perfectly in those parts of the video, which just makes it that much sweeter! There's still a LOT I missed though - such as Gold/Ethan's Tyranitar - so thank you for covering this masterpiece of a music video!

Just found another minor Easter Egg, the gym leader types are in sequence of type effectiveness, eg Water goes into electric which goes into ground etc. (water is weak to electric which is weak to ground etc.). This goes on for every type up until fairy however fairy is strong against the next type which is dragon, and we know dragon is super effective on itself. Then steel and normal which idk what happened there but from there it starts again with normal into fighting into flying. They could've done fairy into steel into fighting into flying and then done normal and dragon last but there are too many in order for it to be a coincidence, right? Just another really cool and thoughtful detail I thought I'd mention. p.s. ghost goes into dark into bug and then fairy ruins it for those wondering about that part
