I must’ve watched hundreds of van builds. This gentleman has it down pat! Thought of everything. He is obviously very well educated in this industry. And I love how he incorporates the yachting world into his van bills. They complement each other very well

@@yoholmes273 Admittedly, I was thinking the same. However, when he said Sam was just going to use kitty litter, I figured it was not going to be toilet for day to day use, but rather only for emergencies. If that's the case, then making it your ottoman is a good way to make it useful when not "in use".

My wife and I watch these TV shows for fun and to go to sleep by and now we want a custom one by this dude as he thought of everything. He's like a Dad..."now I know you want a Fiero b/c they're neat looking but you'll have a fire and it will break so then what? Let me build you a cool sports car that will actually work for you okay?" I have full confidence that this guy eats drinks sleeps conversions and really truly listens to the client. Talk about customer centric!

Wow..I am 71 next month. Tired of working. Limited funds when I retire. Conserved how to live solo off grid a bit. Knowledge is powerful. For me I need to maintain comfort safety least amount of mechanical issues. This is very detailed. I love the entire set up minus microwave. I WOULD USE SPACE FOR MY SENIOR CAT. there are so many variations to layouts for these vans. i don’t know why it matters to ppl who don’t own the van to criticize the craftsmanship of other ppl’s vans & the work that was put into it but i marvel at the fact that all of our daily life amenities can be squeezed into a van. its just a blessing. love this work.

He really thinks through everything when building these. He has access to anything that he might need to fix or upgrade. I don't want to say simple for the things he does, because that doesn't sound right, but it's so well thought out with all the materials that it seems "simple" and yet very aestheticly pleasing. It's a work of art. And knowing his background you can tell he takes that eye for video and photography and uses it in his builds. I know nothing is perfect, but this is about as close as you can come.

By, George, you've outdone yourself! This is the best bathroom and shower set up I've seen in any van or RV. It was so fun to watch George remove the mirror and find the shower plumbing. Even the shower curtain is tucked in the back. Superb!

The shower and toilet design are genius! All that space is available for other activities when not taking a shower. The toilet is a foot stool or seat most of the time. The shower curtain stored behind the armoire and the drain pan extending below it solve so many problems. Love the whole approach to the windows, inside and out. Designing the build so that all systems can be accessed for repairs or changes is such a good thing.

Ditto, love the design with the swivel drivers seat. HOWEVER, one more addition for that area would be a seat for a third passenger. Get a seatbelt attachment and refigure the litter removal. Personally I love the open feeling it allows

This guy is a van GENIOUS! Seriously soo many great and new ideas that I haven't seen yet (and I watched A LOT of van videos). My favorite are the hidden shover, the bed for movie nights and hidden window coverings that aren't taking any extra space. I watched many van travel videos so far, each time I was impressed by the comfort and beauty of each of them. However, without a doubt, this van built is the best and most thoughtful I've seen. It really puts in the thoughts, necessities and client's needs into one tiny van. To me, that is an impressive achievement and mastery of the builder themselves. I very much would have felt more safer and reliable on the road if I live in this guy's van. I wish to see more videos in the future too :)

This is a beautiful van, love his attention to details to accommodate his clients. That is my kind of bathroom and shower, not enclosed in a tiny space.

I have watched hundreds of van conversions and this was the absolute best van I've seen. The bed and shower areas incredible use of space love it.

This guy has thought through everything. I could not find a single thing that was overlooked or would be a problem. It’s obvious he takes great pride in His workmanship and knows his systems. If ever I take the plunge, I’ll call him.

Gorgeous, well thought out build. I'd only ask for a few more things, a slide out table from the rear, and the ability to set-up a hammock. Maybe an outdoor shower curtain and a more disguised toilet in the seating area and perhaps a swingout mirror rather than the need to remove it to access the shower faucet. Other than that, an absolute triumph!!!!

Would love to see George's take on a weekend camper built out with simplified water and electrics infrastructure . Cargo on week days with water and electrics tucked away safely and roll out and install the modules for the weekend with plug and play for his clever 80\20 sturdy modules. His fastidious head and eye for detail would do it with real style.

I agree with so many positive comments left here. I've also watched many van tours and often get bored. But not with George. Love his style of explaining even the, for me, more uninteresting parts. 😂😂

This man is awesome. He has thought of every detail. Little things that will make a big difference. Im blown away by just how much he taught me in one video. I'm currently in the process of saving for my first van for weekend trips with my family to see if the lifestyle suits us. I've been a big fan of van life over the years and only just got my partners interest recently...so as we save, I've been taking many notes on builds, and from the very opening of this video.. I've been made aware of something so seemingly obvious, but since no one really talks about, it completely did not cross my mind. Weight. . This changes so much for me considering building materials etc. But I'm thankful for the detailed insight...hopefully 5 years from now I can look back on this comment and still be enjoying the van life in a build inspired by this video 😁 beautiful build.. I could see my little family of me, my partner and 2 year old living in this.
