Multiple women played vital roles in the Montgomery Bus Boycott more than a year before Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to forfeit her seat to a white person.

Thank you for posting this. I am writing a spotlight on Claudette Colvin for Women's History Month, and I found this while doing research. It just goes to show how many unseen folks went into making the Civil Rights Movement, boycotts, and protests successful. Great video!

Just some additions: WPC went to court with Claudette Colvin every day and fully supported her; Colvin was also a part of Rosa Parks's youth leadership group in Montgomery. So, they all were always working together. There is no separation nor competition.
