Uh damn, I was really hoping that they would of focused on refining the story mode in the 3rd game.

I have always said T2 was better than T3!

This, I love BT3 combat and roster but the story mode in BT2 is way more fun.

One reason was because they hardly had a choice. The previous composer unfortunately samples many copyrighted songs. It was a liability. I loved his work though.

I like it because you have way more freedom. In Tenkaichi 2, you have move cancels that you can use to both extend combos and to flank opponents or retreat, you have free wills for ultimate movement freedom in the air, you have ground dashes for the same freedom on the ground, you have different counter types and counter stances, each with different strategies but you're never locked into one strategy. All of this doesn't exist in Tenkaichi 3, it took out cancels, free wills are gone, ground dashes are almost gone and there is only one counter type. Tenkaichi 3s gameplay is based not on freedom, but on commitment. Most moves lock you in place, with no room to escape. Once you start a combo, the only way to get out of it is by either finishing it or just stopping it which gets you punished, so you must continue. Defensive mechanics are so situational that a unique playstyle isn't possible in the same way it was in BT2. I can see why people like BT3, more combo moves, faster animations, etc, but nothing compares to the freedom you have while playing BT2.

Me too. The combat and controls in 3 were more confusing and complex, way too many button commands. Sonic sway and a few other new inputs... BT2 on the other hand, was perfect. Not too complicated but not to simplified either.

No all but I have played quite a few. I had played tenkaichi 1 when it first came out but this was the first time I'd played tenkaichi 2.

Your unlucky to experience tenkaichi 2.. i have that one before , tenkaichi 2 then after half year i buy tenkaichi 3 which is more awesome.. but the experience i have in tenkaichi 2 is unique. The soundtrack the ambiance of the game is so underrated

@naykerianwalker2522 you can still play tenkaichi tag team in your android phone for free.. with hd graphics theres alot of toturials , and of have a high end mobile you can play all ps2 games in your phone including tenkaichi 2

I think you are confusing this with the Budokai HD Collection on 360 and PS3 which only contained Budokai 1 and 3, and didn't have 2. This video is about the Budokai Tenkaichi games which were only on PS2 and Wii.
