What I like about this is that this is still a legitimate full track, not a shortcut.

You should do a completely normal track, with a single hidden passage that leads not to a fast finish, but a storeroom filled with blocks of cheese. That way, when someone asks "where's the cheese?" you can tell them.

Suggestion.. similar idea, but instead of a u turn at start, a turn at the end.. a really hard track in the starting direction, like really hard. But unobviously there is a cheese at the start to zoom to the end (skipping the checkpoints) but then turn again and hit them all at optimum high speed. There could be minor cheeses in the starting direction but none compared to the uturn end run cheese.

Did kosmo ever finish a reverse run when he got those -8s? Dapper had -10 at some point on his first backwards run but that initial run you're gonna have very differing splits because it's a different track essentially and you're hitting the checkpoints at different times.

This is why I like dapper's tracks. Very creative. Well, not really, but he still kept making cheese that is fun.

It would be cool to make the checkpoints larger so you could wall ride through them too. Awsome track dude!

(Shortcut inspiration) Make a track where in order to do the cheese, you must first "do something" before the cheese becomes available. "Do something" like: - Hit an item before X happen. - Set a rotating floor at a specific angel before you can pass X - Shortcut only opens at a specific moment in time (ex. drive/move slower or take an unneccesary longer pathway before you can do X) - You can use "timed actions" with falling psysics items. Fans also acts like an engine towards the rotating floor when you connect the end of the floor to the middle of the fan. It makes the rotating floor to turn according to the set speed of the fan.

I think you could wallride over the backbooster at the finish to save a bit. Love the track idea!

Dapper should make a track that looks like it is loaded with cheeses but has no cheeses, and title it "The cheesiest track" while the video is titled "the cheese was there were no cheeses"

Idea for a dapper track: Every time you put down a booster, you actually put 2 or 3 boosters side by side and make one of them ever so slightly faster (like 1km/h or 5km/h) or ever so lightly stronger. Enough that if you hit all of them you get a noticeably faster time, but not enough that people notice while going over them. Also, you'll probably have to avoid putting in any speed checks. Bonus idea: Track theme = "track with a twist".

This just feels like a track inside a track instead of a shortcut, this feels meta.

technically thats not a shortcut.. shortcut means that the lenght of the way is, well, shorter, not faster, and yes, that means by taking a shortcut, which has less length than the normal way, doesnt have to be faster.. your "shortcut" is actually longer, but faster, so therefore no shortcut, ehh a "fastcut" i guess?
