When the only negatives you can find are leakage and isolation on open back headphones... Things you buy open backs knowing they will not be good at. Thanks for the review! It was very informative!

Nice rew. man, I have bought recentlly a sundara and last month he400se , I still enjoy my sundara, but I like also he400se on the sound, but my deva to me sounds better , in my opinion : 1.Sundara 2.Deva 3.he400se. Build quality I almost return them because of a weird sound in the cups when I turn my head or move a little with them , but I have found out that I can unscrew a little the screws from the sides and the weird noise disapeared. And I am glad because I found them at a good price in my country. Also very sad regarding the last part 🙁 condolence

Cool name you got there - where is that from and how would I pronounce the first name without butch it? 🤣 ... Thanks for sharing your thoughts on your gear. Are your conclusions based on with or without amp?... And yes, the death of that baby has been heavy news to us.

@@gearupaaron It is my real name lol, you can call me Leo :) born and living in Romania. I use zen dac and zen can as a combo for sundara and the rest. I got also 560s last week, is a good all round. Cheers and keep up the good work!

I have hifiman sundara close back. I think planar headphone have better tecnicality than DD headphone...... But why i feel my DD headphone better than that planar lol.

Oof, tough question! I guess it would depend on which driver tech you think you need. Personally, I could go for either - they're both awesome!

My PC has a decent soundcard, so no problem there. Sometimes I use an iFi Audio Hip DAC, though.

If you can swing it, get the newer 9600. The He400se has superior soundstage and imaging, but falls behind the 9500 in bass, although the HiFiman is easier to amp or EQ.
