High Altitude Tests Riders On Queen Stage | Vuelta A España 2022 Stage 15 Highlights

Күн бұрынStage 15 is the Queen stage of the 2022 Vuelta a España. The peloton first take on the Cat-1 Alto del Purche (8.5km at 7.6%), before the only "Especial" category climb of the race: the 2,512m-high summit of Sierra Nevada. At 22.1km in length with an average gradient of 6.7%, this is the hardest climb at the race and one that’s certain to flip the GC on its head.

I'm starting to think Mas could leap from Primoz. He beat Primoz today and a couple of days ago he had a gap on Primoz, then let up and let him catch back up. .... It makes it fun to watch

Hard to compress a great day's racing into 5 mins but GCN usually do a great job. However, I feel they dropped the ball here. Soler in the lead for so long,,,then next we hear, Arensman is heading for a victory. At least include the footage of him taking the lead....

Fantastic race today ! I realy enjoyd it . Roglic didnt made a great impression ! Remco leaded the best of the classification al away long to the top. so the hardest of the vuelte is over. I ecxpect Remco will do sommething to show all others he is the best in this vuelta. I would like to see a grand tour with pogacar, roglic, vingegaard , bernal and Remco . The five best tour riders of the world. This must give firework !!

Ok, lets brake it down a bit its 1:34 left a rest day ahead and he managed only to get 15 sek out of remco on the last long climb, if remco makes a good recov he will probably win the titel. The climbs are just to short but lets see.

How? All the worst stages are over. The last two mountain stages are way easier than the ones we have seen already. Remco still feels his crash and only gets more fresh by the day.

The commentator is improving. Grazie. His voice is not as weird and off putting as b f. Maybe he is reading the comments. Way to go. Remco loses 15 only. And Remco still today under duress from crash. He is looking too tough to beat. We will see

Truly one of the more bizarre commentator voices for cycling. Sounds like a golf commentator sitting on the side of the green while the golfer lines up a putt. Someone please tell him he is not going to disturb the riders and this isn’t a late night easy listening radio show!

@@basedneeble7350 So the guy rides a 56cm bike. He wouldn't ride a 54cm cause he'd brake his nek. The weight difference between a 56 and 58 bike would be what? a few grams. Seeing as they already use UCI standard limits, the weight would be at a minimum regardles of the length of a rider. So i do not see what is so funny (lol) about my remark?

No. He meanders all over the place...asks questions when he should give answers...spoils results in the middle of the highlights...has no idea how to present a COHERENT summary of the days events. I listen to him and I am just confused and disappointed.
