This video, created by Nucleus Medical Media, shows high blood pressure, or hypertension. This is a common condition in which the force of blood on the walls of your arteries is often too high. While your blood pressure may change throughout the day, it should normally be less than 120 millimeters of mercury for systolic pressure, and less than 80 millimeters of mercury for diastolic pressure. If your systolic pressure frequently stays above 140, or your diastolic pressure frequently stays above 90, you have high blood pressure.

Does it make sense to you to be on life long medication for high blood pressure? Is it not important to know what causes high blood pressure? By knowing the causes, you can take corrective measure yourself daily. I’m going to tell you about five common ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen that can cure high blood pressure. ⏩ 1) Quercetin - A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition has reported that a 200 mg supplement of quercetin increased levels of nitric acid in the blood, thus dilating blood vessels and lowering blood pressure. But we saved the best for last.⏩ 2) Celery - A recent study based in China, published by the National Institute of Health (NIH), hails celery as a great natural option for reducing blood pressure. More than 87% of the participants showed a reduction in blood pressure after consuming celery regularly.⏩ 3) Melatonin - It’s been used for years as a natural sleeping medicine with no side effects. But surprisingly, an Italian research study published in the American Journal of Hypertension shows it also brings blood pressure down while you sleep. ⏩ 4) Hawthorn - Hawthorn extract and hawthorn berries have been shown to have very good blood pressure-lowering effects, almost equivalent to prescription drugs. The best thing about hawthorn is that it not only lowers blood pressure, but also strengthens heart muscles.⏩ 5) Pomegranate juice - This elixir has enough medicinal value to earn the name ‘wonder fruit.’ Scottish researchers from Queen Margaret University have identified how amazing it works for lowering blood pressure.The most effective, quickest and easiest way to lower blood pressure naturally are 3 easy blood pressure exercises. Is really good to take some check-up sometimes on they, when I was 15 old I get a 16/8 during a beneficent act of the japanese association health group of Brazil. I don't know if I ever had it, but everything start after I get depression after moving to a new high school where I don't know anyone, and some emotional frustration about a teen love of mine. I went to the cardiologist, take some exams and she said that I just need do exercises, eat right foods and try to get less stress. Apparently everything happend because the stress and the lack of exercise, but highly because the stress. In this new school (it happens in my first year of the highschool) I didn't just know anyone but there's rarely PE classes (and when had, it was in the class, the teacher only give theoric class), and because it I suddenly stopped doing exercises. I gain weight, become depressed and sedentary, and finally get this hypertension. And since that time, one decade, my pressure never normalize (okay, I confess I not an active person, but it's seems become chronical, but when I became vegan my symptoms drop down, but is only when I eat more fresh vegetables and do some exercises that is when I heally start feeling better). So, I hope you and your kids do well, watch out about then.

I took my blood pressure other day for the first time in 20 years. I’m 50. I was very anxious and could feel the anxiety. High pulse. Tension. I hate these electronic ones. Cuff really hurt and I panicked. Reading was 180/125. I was gobsmacked. I became afraid to take it again. I did though today. Three days later. I knew I was much calmer but still had some anxiety. I did it three times on the run. Last one was 150/99. Much better. And I was still panicky so maybe less if I was really relaxed. Point being don’t worry if it’s mega high and you are stressed. It’s probably a lot lower really. Getting one lower result really calmed me down. I thought I was the first high reading all the time.

Great video with breathtaking animation. May I suggest to include the diagnostic of hypertension as well? It is not just measuring a few times in the doctor's cabinet, but 24h-measurement to confirm the diagnosis, check of adrenals and kidney arterias to rule out the reason for secondary hypertension. Talking about sports, actually stretching exercises seem to lower hypertension more effectively than other sports as recent studies suggest. Thank you for your detailed work, I love all of your videos.

I've had high blood pressure for more than 10 yrs. I got it under control by eating 2 or 3 cloves of garlic a day and 10ml of apple cider vinegar in water. I went from mild to moderate hypertension to high end of normal. Was 160/92 now 137/82. Of course that fluctuates during the course of the day. I think cutting coffee helped alot aswell. Shame, I LOVE coffee !!! Fyi, I can have a reading of 137/82 before a coffee then 5 mins after a coffee read's 160/89.

@@syedbaji8 There are many ways to help reduce bp. Dietary worked for me but its 8 yrs since I posted this and I’m now on low doses of pharma meds. My brother in-law had high bp but realised it was due to stress and lack of exercise. His is now under control by making lifestyle changes. In retrospect I think it’s very important to figure out the root cause. Also important to know if it’s hereditary which with me is the case. The doc told me mine was 190/110 earlier today, which was a shock for me, considering, how all my blood tests came back excellent. Guess that's kind of a family thing in my case though, but still, gonna try and quit smoking for good now. Maybe then I'll get rid of the sluggish feeling, headaches and sleeplessness once and for all.

Last time I checked my blood pressure was when we suspected I had pneumonia - I had a fever, and I was in pain - it read 160/101mmHg, which definitely had me worried, but I just assumed that it was due to the fever/pain/lack of sleep... I haven't checked my blood pressure in over a year now, but something's just not right. My heart is always beating so much faster than everyone else's. Occasionally, I can actually _feel_ it beating, as if it's hitting against my ribs. It's really starting to freak me out. (I'm only 24!) Unfortunately, I do smoke quite a lot, and I drink plenty of coffee (though lately I've reduced my intake), so it's hardly a mystery as to why I have such high blood pressure. I'll have to form a new lifestyle for myself. This can't go on. Learning that high blood pressure can actually lead to getting a _stroke_ (as opposed to other, less severe consequences) was a slap to the face, I'll tell you that. Christ. I'm scared now.

Nick John if u dont mind me asking.. are u overweight?.. and what is the causes of hypertension?
@nickjohn2051
@nickjohn2051 3 жыл бұрын
@@SakuraBlossoms151 Yes Im overweight. My hypertension are caused by myriad of factors. I think the biggest is the use of seroquel (antipsychotics). That contribute to me having diabetes, and stage 2 to stage 3 hypertension. And lead to my liver dysfuntions. And ugly rash. I manually check up all of this at other clinic. Because of the Dr that prescribe me is from goverment hospital that is shitty in attitude. When I confront them with these facts, they just ignored me and just prescribe me seroquel with chlorphenamine which is another antihistamine to combat the rash. It only a matter of time when bad things to happen. And it did. My heart literally go through the roof. I manage to check my blood pressure at pharmacy. At that time, it was 160/100. Pharmacist urged me to go to nearest hospital. I immediately went to top hospital which is University of Malaya Medical Center. At that time I can only remember my blood prressure reading was 190/120. After that I fainted. Now I followed up with ummc. Changed my drug regime and had to put on propranalol and perindopril. Those goverment Dr are retards in white coat.
