High court declares SHIF act unconstitutional

28 күн бұрынIt is a temporary relief for the government tonight, after the High Court suspended its earlier decision that had declared the health Acts unconstitutional, null and void after the Attorney General’s office argued that the repeal would leave a void in the health sector. In their second ruling on Friday, a three-judge bench comprising Justice Alfred Mabeya, Robert Limo and Friday Mugambi gave the Attorney General only 45 days to appeal their initial decision.

This thing of changing national health insurance name every time is pure nonsense.. Just improve NHIF to be more effective.. Names will not help anything,, sooner people will name NHIF after their children

Already the court ruled the so called housing levy unconstitutional but the law breaker master went against it hence forcing it down kenyans throats

Maybe you are living in another planet and NOT Kenya. What makes you think that SHIF will NOT be a cash cow. If no corrupt governor has ever been jailed and if the auditor general keeps on unveiling loss of money from Govt bodies and no action taken why trust that Money from SHIF will not be shifted? Remember the the chairman of Anti corruption is a bishop( man of God) still no corrupt politician has been jailed.
