I worked in a pub in a Dublin suburb where the owner was notorious for watching employees from home using the CCTV. You'd get a call from his house if you were on your phone too much. Nightmare!

Would you consider doing a talk about employer's responsibility to workers returning to the workspace amid Covid-19. I am one of the vulnerable, at risk groups and am wondering what if it's not safe but don't want to get sacked either! I imagine other people are worried about the same thing?

Just curious if there is an employment clause when joining the company to allow cctv will it be allowed

Can a 3rd party a pub send cctv to my employers customer showing theft which the person employed was not part off but the employee took something from a skip and left it beside the skip then leaving the premises. The employee was shown this cctv footage of him arriving doing his delivery then taking the object from skip leaving beside skip nobody from pub came to meet him to sign he rang the pub saying he was there he left docket .he left then the thieves arrived 15 min later stole the delivery. The employer was 100% satisfied employee was innocent regarding theft but disiplined him . The pub gave cctv to the employers customer who then passed cctv to the employer who then gave employee a disaplinary theres a complaint lodged to dpc regarding the pub giving cctv as employee understands gardai only should have been only ones to see it . The employee was shown himself arriving carrying out his delivery waiting for pub rep to sign in the time waiting he took object from skip left it beside skip left premises . Cctv was fast forward to 15 mins when thives stole delivery . Data request was not sent but was given freely by the pub to employers customer and then to employer
