Good job!! I have this camera. I’ve had it for like two years now and it’s time for me to shoot my first short film.

it's Netflix approved and it's definitely got their place for some productions.

"What's in the box?!" lol maybe 24-105 2.8 - I've been searching for Canon R5C content on KZfaq and there's pretty much nothing other than battery life issues. Glad to finally see some good content by B&H for strictly R5C. I know these are supposed to be fast turnaround projects but a simple grade would have been much better!

How many batteries did you changed for shooting this scenes ? in most of the shots the tally light were blinking because of low battery. I do own a R5c 😂 without a v-mount/ external power solution this camera is a nightmare.

That battery will last you 35 minutes from turning it on :P Use the battery grib for 65 minutes.. ish.. a and for longer real video filming use a V-mount plate with some rigging.. its just not usable with one battery And its super sad that canon didnt gave us c-log 2.. I had to get two C70 cameras to get same colors for interviews... but had to keep the R5c for photos still.

I think he was waiting to get some Solar Eclipse Gears like glasses and telescopes for April 8th. He smiled when he got it on time from B & H and felt the glow of solar eclipse coming right out of the box when he opened it.

Color grade would have been nice

It is crazy how much Canon camera price goes down. R5c was announced at $4500 now it is $3600. Sony fx3 announced 3 years ago and still sell for $3800.

As an R5C owner I know the internal battery did not last long in this video ☹️ need an external one for sure.

Can you combine it with Sirui Anamorphic Saturn RF mount. I wonder how it works with 1.6 squeeze. I also use R5 and R5C, but with RF photo glass. Would love to get some afordable cinema lenses. Some recommendations? BTW in the box is full Canon cine lens RF bundle kit

Great Video.. I LOVE B&H PHOTO... I was very happy when long ago you started to produce your own videos... and the quality has gotten so amazing... i wanted to ask... Did Canon Update Firmware address the problem in Video Top 8k Raw Monitoring Option... before... All Options except 8k Raw can have Video Monitoring... Did that Change and what Firmware did that fix

Love the images out of this particular camera, you asked what we like to see, I like to see a short but playing with the different lenses the cine ones and the photo ones, probably several shorts in order to show exactly how the films perform, I own the camera, and I have some of the RF lenses, but really like to see, the lenses I don't have perform, specially the new ones even if they are for stills, I do a lot of hybrid shooting, I don't buy a lens for cinema and a lens for stills, I just use the lens I have on camera to do the hybrid shooting, most of the people I know that owns this camera are like that also.
