Tired of acne, wrinkles, under-eye circles, and cellulite? Getting clear skin can get pricey after frequent trips to the spa! You can try a high-frequency facial at home! In this video, I explain all of the benefits of High Frequency for your skin and body. I also have a tutorial on how to use the device!
I initially found out about high frequency when I was at the worst of my acne. My esthetician used this on me and it healed my skin so fast. Besides acne, I learned that high frequency is basically a cure-all for many other skin and body issues!

I started using this 3 days ago. I have horrible dark circles. I used the spoon attachment. After the first pass, that area lightened up considerably. I could not believe it. Instead of dark purple appearance, they have lightened to a light brown. Unbelievable! So now when I put my makeup on along with concealer, they are totally covered. It is so weird to look in the mirror and not see them. I am 47 and have had them my whole life. I did not tell my husband. He said your skin looks really good. He was trying to figure out what was different, lol. My eyes aren't tired anymore either. I feel more alert.

If you use a gauze with it its becomes more beneficial because the gap the gauze provides will lift the electrode off your skin a teeny bit so the "zap" will go deeper. Also, when spot treating you can lift off up to 1/4 inch away for even better results.

The gauze is important because it promotes oxygen flow which is how the device works. The thicker the layer of gauze between the wand and the skin, the more oxygen is circulating and the more efficient and effective the device is.

Hello licensed Esti here! The max recommended use for the HFM is up to 3 minutes WITH a gauze to allow the electrodes to really do their work. ALSO you must ground the tool every time it’s not making contact with the skin! You can do this by putting your finger on the wand before putting it to your skin. Please anyone who plans on using, consult your physician before use if any existing medical conditions like heart problems! And not recommended for grades 3&4 acne or lesions

Thanks for this video. It encouraged me to buy my own high frequency device for thirty bucks (Amazon). I already do microcurrent facials and microneedling at home and this device is the icing on my skincare cake. It dried up my zits within 2 days and it refined my skin texture. My pores look smaller and the skin looks healthier. I also think my skintone is a bit rosier and more even. It surprised me that this cheap device could change my skin noticably, because I already do a lot of stuff.

@@philfallacci4833 Hi, sounds like you found a hf routine that works for you :) If you want to take your anti aging regimen to the next level, then, yes, buy a microcurrent device. This way you approach anti agiing at a "deeper" level, because it primarily works on your muscles. I recommend the myolift mini because it can relax and lift the muscles. The other devices can only lift which in the long run makes no sense and is a waste of money. Hope this helps.

Great video! Try it with a big gauze wrapped over the tip. I swear it is so much easier to glide over then take it off when you spot treat. I do it both ways but with gauze it slides so much easier. Also put your finger on the stem of the glass right before you touch it to your face so it doesn't arch and shock you from far away. Just my 2 cents lol you also have great skin!

NOT FOR ANYONE WITH HEART PROBLEMS, PACE MAKERS. So when you’re about to touch the tip to your face you’re supposed to ground the tip before putting on your face and before you release for your face. You ground the tip by placing your finger on it then placing on your face, you then remove your finger. Same thing for removing from your face.

Now turn it on.You will notice the electrical current will stop where you placed your finger. When you make contact with your face lift your finger and the current will travel to the end of the glass to your face, place your finger back again and it will go back to where you have placed your finger- now turn it off. In this manner you will prevent the electric current from jumping elsewhere.

I invested a lot in skin care serums, treatments, face washes and all kinds of stuff then I found this. I ordered this and a microcurrent machine also, so I got those and microdermabrasion device as well as a micro needling tool along with some other stuff. It seems super overwhelming since I don’t really know how to use them in the right order but I do know order is important! I used this device twice since I just got it and I truly love it! I found it through my esthetician and it’s amazing but through all the info I looked up, your video was by far the best as far as information! So thank you!!!!

Very informative, thank you! I have never had this bad of acne so I went to the doc to get meds and I went to an estetietion to get on a regular schedule with facials and she used this on me and encouraged me to get one on amazon. I bought the same one (I think) but had no idea how to use it. This video was helpful and I can't wait to continue practicing with it!

Hi Lauren, I didn't find anywhere how to use the device on thighs to reduce cellulite. Could you do a tutorial if you know how of course? Also from your video which is very informative and helpful I still couldn't figure out how long every session should be as well as if one should do it every day or every other day etc. I do apologise if you mentioned it and I have missed it. Many thanks once again for the video.

Hi! I don't have a tutorial but you can use it the same way you use on your face- just apply it over the area for 15 seconds max per spot.

I've had facials over the years, at a variety of different places, and where they've used this device. More recently however, I was at a spa in the neighborhood, and got a facial. Now on one hand, this place is quite good and 'professional', as far as little neighborhood spas go. However, it is Chinese-owned and run, which I know can sometimes mean they are getting their products from China, and where the quality can be questionable. Anyway, when the facialist used the high-frequency device on me, it felt no different than other spas I've been to, and where they used this device. There was a very light 'zap' feeling now and then, but overall, it was honestly quite mild. However, after my facial, while my overall skin was glowing...it looked terrific....'moist'....dewy...'plump' (any teeny wrinkles I may have on my face, as a whole, seemed LESS noticeable)....I noticed that the opposite had occurred on the deeper wrinkles on my face (i.e., my 'frown' lines, one horizontal line on my forehead, and the two 'smile lines' on either side of my mouth). All of those lines looked MORE pronounced and deeper, after this facial. Any idea why that would be...what would cause that? I don't think it's my imagination... ;-) Thanks!

I am 27 years old and just started getting hormonal cystic acne. I seen a dermatologist that recommended tactupump (doing this broke me out the worst I've ever had acne) I was also recommended accutane but I don't like the side effects. Did you find this really worked for your acne? I get married in 8 months and I really don't want to be walking down the aisle with horrible acne. Ive tried everything to get rid of it :(

Hi Jackie! I'm so sorry you are struggling with hormonal acne! That is so hard. spironolactone may be good for you to take? It's prescribed from a dermatologist but I've heard amazing things for hormonal acne. The high frequency machine will help but it won't treat the cause of the acne. I also have a blog post about hormonal acne and a product you can try: laurenerro.com/adult-acne-tips-from-the-skincare-queen-jan-marini Jan Marini and Curology may be great options for you! I have another video about Curology if you are curious. Please keep me posted! You can email me hello@laurenerro.com or dm me on Instagram @laurenerrobeauty. I would love to help.

When I was struggling with hormonal chin/forehead acne like the ones that would be under the skin and never come to a head and be so HUGE I cut back on dairy (not completely) , stopped using acne products (dried my skin out and caused my face to produce too much oil and that’ll cause breakouts) and resorted to just using huggies baby wipes and witch hazel. Seriously. My face cleared up within a month. I know everyone’s different but be gentle on your skin and see if it helps!

Hi Jackie. I had cystic acne in in my thirties. I went on Accutane at full strength and for longest permitted period of time. The only side effect I had was chapped lips. No stomach issues or anything. I wasn't pregnant and did not have children after my use of Accutane so I can't comment about that. For me, it was the best thing I ever did for my skin. The cysts did come back, though, when I went through menopause. I just got my eDiva and I'm eager to try it out. Lauren, thank you for this video.
@jaclynn07

@@byryr unfortunately I cannot take accutane as I have myoclonic epilepsy and there's a big risk that the pressure accutane causes in your brain and cause you to have grand mal seizures. Its not a risk I'm willing to take.
