Great video. I have residents that live in 3 bed room apts. They leave their thermostat set on 78 to 80 & then wonder why its "a little humid & warm in there" while theres a 108 degree heat index outside. I do a full service on their unit & nothing is ever wrong. Great lesson on humidity. Thanks teach!

I don't understand how people can stand having their ac set at 78° or above at 75° im sweating my butt off. Id rather have high energy bills than sweat to death.

They are multi position service valves, not king valves. King valves attach to a receiver tank.

Those king valves take me back to when I serviced some old Rheems. And I mean old lol units older than me.

As the homeowner and not a tech. I'm not sure what the problem or the fix was (other than adding 1 pound of R22) Can someone please explain?

My main problem with Carrier units is that the label with the model number and info are faded so bad I can't read them on more than half of them

I have a home built in 2014, 1 story, always set at a/c is always set at 70 degrees, filter changed on time, fan is on auto but my humidity level indoors has elevated to 71% what could it be? Is it the heat outdoors? I live in south texas

Good tip on the king valves Zack. I haven't seen those on the new units. I just installed a couple carrier heat pumps a few weeks ago. Great video!
