Featuring the same custom-engineered TIR optics found in all of our Stage Series lights, the SSC1 produces up to 50,000 candela! Much like its older brother, the SSC2, the Stage Series C1 LED pod comes standard with four backlight color options.
Our Stage Series C1 LED Pods are fully engineered, tested, and assembled in St. Louis, Missouri, and are backed with an industry-leading 8-year warranty!

I couldn't agree more. I'm a huge Diode Dynamics fan and run lots of them, but I also have had great experiences with the other brands. The fact that Diode isn't scared to give credit where it's due to it's competitors makes it an even more attractive company.

Wow. You guys just keep pushing the bar higher and higher! I think these will be PERFECT in the flush mount version to mount inside my chevy truck tail lights that I am building. Im using two of your red hd strips mounted vertically inside the tails,( about 11" tall). These ssc1 will be perfect to add on the bottom for reverse lights, and the red or amber backlight can function as my turn signal! Perfect timing to release these!

@@diodedynamics you guys had mentioned in other replies that more info was coming for the SAE Fog version but I haven’t seen it yet. I guess what I’m looking for is a useful comparison between the SAE fog and the Sport/Pro C1 pods and even the larger SS3 lights to see what I’d want and to understand their big price difference. Unlike most of your other products, there is very little info provided to compare them to anything else. No power, lumens, charts, or even output photos. I’ve got some small Hella Micro DE fogs I’m thinking of replacing and could fit an SS3, but a small/low profile C1 might be cool if it has similar performance… but maybe the bang for the buck is actually better with the SS3? I have no idea.

Hi. I was waiting for this to compare the the SSC2. I want to pair it up with my DD 18" bar. I just dont get why the Pro Spot has 19watts and just 23000 Candela and the Sport Spot has 12.8w with 50 000 candella. Giving it has the same beam pattern (7x7), I dont understand this. One of there 3x values (beam, watts,peak candela) must be wrong. No?
@diodedynamics
@diodedynamics 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Bernie! You are correct. The output size listed is a mistake on our end. The Sport is more focused, with a smaller beam pattern. So the intensity is higher with that tighter focus. The Pro covers are larger area. The 9th image in the link below will show the difference in comparison! www.diodedynamics.com/stage-series-c1-white-sport-standard-led-pod-pair.html

My truck has Diode 12” lightbar, SS3 fogs, 4x SS3 on the front roof, 2x C2 ditch lights, 2x C2 flush mount in the rear bumper, and on the rear roof corners I have 2x Baja S1. Now that DD has one that fits there, it’s going to bug me that two of my lights are different than the others. hi!....i just mounted a pair of SS3s for ditch lights, and attached the SSC1s (wide beam pattern) to the sides of the SS3 like shown in the video....awesome compact package, i just have 1 question.......Since you have to mount them "sideways" to attach to the SS3s, i noticed the beam pattern isn't "wide" anymore and pretty much just goes straight up and down (i'm assuming because they're mounted on their side now)....is there anyway to flip the beam pattern around so it spreads left and right like it's supposed to, and not up and down?......Awesome lights by the way guys, i sold all my baja fogs and ditch lights, and just went to DD for almost everything, awesome awesome products!!

Looking to add a pair of Amber SSC1's to the front of a motorcycle for increased visibility to other drivers. What beam pattern would you suggest? Specifically looking for increased daytime visibility.
@Skuxxoffroad
@Skuxxoffroad 3 жыл бұрын
If your goal is only to be more visible to other drivers, the flood in amber would be good. Spot will be too bright to oncoming traffic. The new wide pattern may be a good option as well, though you may have to be careful to aim them properly or risk similar side effects to the spot. If you want to also increase your ability to see the road, I'd go with the wides and be careful with where you point them. My 2¢
