A damn lot better than most spaghetti westerns that were filmed two decades later. Better plot, acting and dialog. Better camera angles and sets.

Brings back many wonderfil memories of my Dad who loved this author and whose books gave him no end of pleadure and entertainment

God I hope this is good.. little else worth watching on KZfaq not already seen. I have misgivings - let's face it, 90 percent of old Westerns were rubbish. But this one's got a Barrymore (Drew's dad) in it, so fingers crossed!

Not sure what kind of movies those that call this "hokey" or "awful" watch but too bad they can't appreciate good wholesome entertainment. A classic from 1950 in many ways. People have changed in alot of ways but not for the better in many.

That was one of the most nerve wracking Western I’ve ever seen. I had to turn it off half a dozen times because it was too exciting! Thanks for that. 👏👏👏

One of the best westerns I’ve seen in a long time. Good detailed story, good acting, and above all authentic sets. Certainly ranks alongside The Searchers.

Great movie.Any Louis L'Amour story made into a movie is awesome to watch.Lovely terrain and good cast to complement this old movie.❤
