I have come across homeless people who practice magic as a form of self protection. Being homeless is like being in jail. There is a status quo among homeless people. And trying to navigate that is difficult along with all the other things the homeless have to deal with. Magic is something that seems to work for many of them.

Good point, the kybalion talks about people that ignore the material universe and end up walking around in dream land. Without a basis in both worlds, it's like lacking essential normalcy. I have a friend that is obsessed with the power of her forms of black magick, which you could call low magick. I have always been obsessed with bettering myself spiritually, but also got trapped in that headspace that the kybalion speaks about, walking around aimlessly in life as if all is an illusion, now i try to stay grounded in reality. It's enough to just see the fringe so that it's tangible and real and then pull back into reality. I also see the value in all types of magick.

I just found your channel! . I do both high and low magick and i was wondering what is the deal with that seperation exactly because it feels like the two merge and i still get confused even if I study a lot . I really think this video is on point on so many levels. Studying the natural pharmacea can be also a form of high magick in a way because the spirit of plants is a direct link into this energy of 'divine' Unity for me.Where if you transmute a garden on the physical for the community and really for the big picture.And while I do that , I polish my soul. Because when i do gardening ist immersed in high magick and low magick ... I can do a spell while working or i can invoke earth and spirit into the land ( im a gardener in charge of a huge park and magician/witch so that happened ) on the physical earth than it brings up this healing energy above yourself and your tribe and it goes to the collective conciousness right ?. Sometimes i have the intuition that the hierachy exist for a reason between high and low but the line is just not that clear sometimes for me. But hey ! I always need to study more so its fine :) Happy to have found your space on youtube !

So low magick is connected to more earthly forces and high magick is connected to more heavenly forces? Also i can see them being directly connected to the lower energetic self and higher energetic self in relation to the chakras. Also the shamanic Lowerworld and Upperworlds

Thank you for this clarification. I don't fully agree with what you are saying that people on the street are all victims of low vs high magic imbalance. Some of them are victims of abuse and completely unaware of magic, just people being having been cruel and abusive towards them. At the same time, without high magic concept, you can manifest a physical reality void of ethics, ruin relationships, become completely selfish and miserable and still have no desire to want to practice high magic so not sure if low magic 1st then high magic 2nd is the better approach, but trust me I understand what you are saying. I just think it's a lot of valuable time and years wasted. But to each their own. This explanation has truly given me insight of where I am lacking and why things haven't quite worked out and possibly meditate on where I want to go, using both systems. I guess we just have to find what works.

High majik is what went on in the temples. Many priests and the like. Low majik is witchcraft, shamanism, medicine men, divination, that type of stuff.

Is it possible to be attuned to magical or supernatural entity? Growing up I’ve always had supernatural experiences, I’ve always felt out of place. Now that I’m older I feel like I’m being drawn to what I was trying to ignore. Maybe it’s a phase?

As a person interested in low (practical) magic, I appreciate your attempt at explaining this. I already did something like high magic. Sometimes it’s called religion. I didn’t find it that useful.

Low Magick doesn't exist. It's just the placebo effect and confirmation bias.
