Actually YG has the best artists out there. Powerful vocals and very distinctive Charismatic Rappers Talented Music Writers and Producers Explosive stage presence. They may not as great as others when it comes to dancing (they don't really focus on dancing alot but they produces music and performances that touches the hearts.

Seungri has said it himself that coz he saw how great a dancer Youngae is, so it broke his confidence in dancing and voluntarily didn't polish his skills

Can I just say that I am so proud of my WINNER boys? Kang Seungyoon's voice is just so unique and versatile. It can fit any genre. Like seriously. Rock, Ballad, Pop, Jazz, Country, name it! Kim Jinwoo's healing honey-like voice that cures my headache anyday. They seriously both need more appreciation. However, diamonds are for those who dig deep enough. It's the people's loss if they refuse to listen to them 😊

Seungyoon has wide range, his low tone makes me fluttering, he can do falsetto, middle note, high note, even he can manage his husky voice into blessing harmony. He can make eargasm voices... Damn, I love his charming voices.

@@hengsovanmakara379 It's common knowledge SM has the best vocals. YG has always used backing tracks and sometimes even auto-tune, from BigBang to Treasure. They were indeed the ones to use it less than other companies but, well, they *were* Funny enough the best YG vocalist right now (after the departure of Lee Hi), is Lee Suhyun, who stopped being trained by YG vocal coaches because she felt the training was changing her voice, and she made the right decision.

YG boys have distinct voice colors like Daesung, Seungyoon, and Junhoe. I always been a fan of naturally given husky voice like them. I really like Bom voice on debut era but she strained her voice too much now. Taeyang also did strain his voice as time goes by but he can control it well. Hayi and Suhyun are quite excellent vocals its no doubt. As for Rose, i really like her voice when she sang for GD album before its so gentle and calming but i dont like her nasal voice now its like she was forced to sing so just to make it unique.

I hate to say this but Rose's voice is so much different than the way she talks (personal but not in live shows). I mean its not natural and she just forces it but even if she doesn't make her tone high she still have an angelic voice..

Yg Artists are'nt like other kpop artists that if you can hit high notes then your already great. Yg cares about vocal quality, voice color, vocal style & uniqueness that leaves the listeners in owe and make the listeners say "Its different". Basically, Yg artist's voices gives a lasting impressions and want hear more

Hitting high notes doesn't make a singer better than the one who doesn't hit high notes often.Good vocal technique,resonance and support .Most kpop idols tend to sing falsetoo which is mostly unsupported but some have very good chest voices with great support like kyuhyun ,sanduel,Chen,kyungsoo,Eunkwang For example kyungsoo of exo is a mind blowing vocalist without doing any high vocals , Leo of VIXX has very high notes but lacks good techniques that's what important to decide a artists talent.YG artists sure have unique vocal tones but most of them lack good vocal technique the only one I like is suhyun.She has good techniques and tone

an easy way of putting it is, falsetto high notes are usually thin and quiet(er than belting)... belting or using your chest voice (+ head voice) you're singing high notes louder and thicker... i hope that makes sense haha

what I love about YG is YG really has lead vocalist and vocalist that can be equal to their main vocal. BigBang has daesung, 2ne1 has CL Minzy, Blackpink has Jennie.. iKON is known to has many amazing vocalist June(main)/Jinhwan(main)/yunhyeong(highnote)/DK(fasetto). Winner lost Taehyun but If they use more Jinwoo, that will be amazing. Jinwoo really has good voice and vocal color but they did not use him much since trainee(WIN). its dissappointing.
