love Nick's constant feedback and positive approach. Shamir hitting and immediate response is great, i know it is exhausting, but you'll only get better with the shot selection

@@IntuitiveTennis No problem! I have been meaning to ask - I have watched Federer vs Djokovic play court level at London 2019 ATP Finals, and I didn't get the impression they were often hitting with a ton of net clearance as I hear recommended from many coaches. Instead, they were hitting lower to the net, but with more pace (still with lots of spin). I was wondering if you think ball height/shape has its limits to players at the highest levels? Or perhaps it depends on the court/player? Though, I completely understand this is the best thing to do for most players!

Depends on the court surface although Fed generally hits lower.

Sooo many improvements in Shamirs game! If he can just take some time off the court to up his footwork, fitness and explosiveness I think he will see a tremendous jump in his game. His feet are just a little bit too slow at times and then it puts him in a situation where he hits too flat or without proper technique.

You may cover it later in the clip but during the early feeds he was often letting the ball drop even when he had time to take it at the peak.

I feel that Pareto principle works here as well. You can hit 80 % risk and still you have good ratio of errors but with 90 % risk that ratio is much more higher.

Awesome video Nick and Shamir❤. High percentage forehand game. Love that term. Playing with intensity and safe targets but being agressive enough not to be attacked easily. Well said Nick. Exactly how I would like my game to look like. Love the videos with Shamir😊 , a bit of action and a bit of talk - rather enjoyable🫠

Does anyone have any tips playing against somebody that keeps hitting low slices that stay low. It feel like it takes more effort to deal with those shots because you have to generate all the spin and momentum from a low point.

Too many of his forehands he’s hitting with a completely open stance therefore losing shoulder turn and body weight moving forward. All his pace then becomes all arm.
