High Pheasant Shooting | Wellshead Estate | Exmoor Shoot

Another fantastic day in the field! This time on VERY high pheasants on Exmoor. Some big gaps between the bird and gun were needed to bring down these monsters. The ShotKam footage made a very interesting watch!
A great day from start to finish. I hope the video captures how spectacular the views and pheasants were on the day.

I live in US and 71 yrs and this the only thing on my bucket list left. I have had a great life till losing my wife 2 yrs ago. So I guess with this the one thing I didn't get to do I have had a Great Life. Thank You for the video.

Great video and some great shooting 👍👏👏. Interesting regarding your choke choice, I had wrongly assumed you would be using a lot tighter than half. The results speak for themselves though 👍

Thank you Gary! 👍 I always used to be a 3/4 full kinda guy but the cartridges seemed to produce better patterns with a looser choke and like you said, the results speak for themselves 😁 all the best, Rob.

You shot very well and so did the team what I could see they were good birds them I’ve gone down from shooting 4’s. Now to 34g 5 with 1/2 and 5/8 seem to pattern better … good video bud

What was your thoughts at 8:34 to much lead on the first and not enough on the second? Looked a lovely lovely bird

I didn’t read the line right and shot down the right hand side of the bird both barrels! A fantastic bird that beat me 👍
