You guys are the only ones talking about the back feeding. I watched the low pressure raise above 75 psi and was thinking that it could have been back feeding. But It's been tough to sort out because low side pressure at 75psi isn't exactly cause for concern, and I haven't had anything but code P225D to point at as far as diagnosing the hpfp. I have had the code return in a few days, so this was a big help.

This video is my saviour. I have a GM 2011 LLT 3.6 VE2 Holden Commodore with exactly this issue. I've been trying to diagnose the exact issue for months being it's intermittent. Tried using pro strength injector cleaners which helped a bit but I think they were very dirty too. I bought a set of genuine injectors to fit but wasn't convinced it was the only issue. Glad I waited. You saved me a tonne of time doing the job twice being that the whole intake needs removal for both jobs. Cheers mate from Oz.👍

Ok,problem i've got is eml light comes on when i accelerate hard at 60mph,that's it ,and power cuts and drives smoothly home in limp mode.Clear the code and everything goes back to normal until you accelerate hard again at 60. If i wasn't accelerating hard obviously the problem wouldn't and doesn't happen. So,only thing left to replace is either the high pressure pump or the low pressure pymp/sender in the tank. Which one of these is likely to cause a low fuel pressure fault at 60mph??and be ok at all other times?? Car is 2008 c-class 320 cdi om642 engine,any advice?

Got a 2010 Cadillac CTS 3.6 giving code p0089 and p0091, I thought it was the fuel pump but I think it might be this high pressure pump(thought it was called a fuel pump regulator), went to the dealer they told me these cars don't have a regulator cus it was direct injection, any thoughts???
