Former VBS Mutual Bank chairperson Tshifhiwa Matodzi has been sentenced to an effective 15 years in jail after pleading guilty this week, for his coordinated looting of the bank. His guilty plea saw him enter a deal with the state, which resulted in him signing a now leaked affidavit, in which several politicians, traditional leaders and the former DG at National Treasury are implicated. Naledi Moleo speaks to VBS Minority Shareholders spokesperson Madambi Muvhulawa.

How much was lost (R1b), hiw much is alleged to have gone to the EFF (R16m)... The entire interview was on the 1.6%, suppose the allegayion is correct... It is this blatantly biased reporting that makes people see this as a political witch hunt when there are real people, the vulnerable suffering... why waste so much airtime on EFF and not even once, mention any of those in the over 200 page affidavit... really...!!! The affidavit says the guy promised to donate to the eff 5m once and then 1m monthly...consider the word "promised " , while it's a shame that a black monument (vbs) was destroyed we can't blame the eff nor does the affidavit have enough info to jail them. Way worse than CR17, phala phala , arms deal, guptas etc ... within that affidavit some are seriously implicated yet none is mentioning them... the whole thing is a propaganda and a shame mainstream media

This Lady talks of other Political Leaders, Former Treasury DG, and Traditional Leaders but surprisingly NAME Mr. Julius Malema and Floyd Shivhambu including the EFF, are they NOT Politicians? Why are the specifically Named ? That Affidavit must be assessed for what it seem to be....I have so much doubts in it, something is wrong with this whole thing.

In court, evidence must be produced and I strongly doubt that NPA has any evidence that links Malema and Shivambu. The leaking is to tarnish the EFF, that's why this anchor is so obsessed with mentioning the EFF and it's Leadership. But I can say NPA doesn't have evidence.

There is evidence what you mean, did you know that vbs money was tracked to floyd’s brother as a “donation” to the eff as Dali mpofu mentioned in SABC. Then the money was sent to front companies accessed by Malema and floyd. Read the investigation by Pauli van Wyk .

FF+ Minister is given undeserved praise for offering parole to the criminal in return of implicating the innocent. Does he even have an office to operate from? I believe it is too early as he may not have started with office work but is trying to adjust to the new post.
