Good strategy Sir, Thank you Nifty (Spot) is trying to break 19300-19250 zone to move downside , in this zone lot of demand is creating, also bears are covering their shorts in this zone, once 19250 breaks downside target would be 18950-18850. Bank nifty (Spot) may support nifty in coming week (4th week August) if ,Bank nifty trade above 43920 we may expect bigger move upside and below 43600 is super bearish down side target would be 42350.

Thank you for the video. One question, fellow traders please advise. Sir bought a 20000pe of October. The premium will have very high extrensic value as well as intrinsic value. So in case the market turns bullish the intrinsic value will start reducing and as the time passes by the extrinsic value will also start reducing. So wouldn't it have been better in this case we bought a put option atm in the month of September? Because the intrinsic value will be almost zero and is the market actually falls then we will start enjoying more intrinsic value compared to the decay in extrinsic value?

There is lot of liquidity below 19300 till 18850. So price will sweep this liquidity in many sessions and return back to the original trend which is up. For efficient market this is important.

@@shubhamarora5073 It means Average True Range. But you don't need to worry about its meaning and the concept. Just go to tradingview and click supertrend indicator three times, and in the settings - set ATR as 10 and period/factor as 1 in the first supertrend and similarly set 11,2 and 12,3 in the next 2 supertrend indicators.

Sir, more than one month option prices are wrong in opstra. Between buyers and sellers the price gap is at least 50 points. Please don't tell 3 thousand when the market is open immediately will show 5 thousand loss also. You just tell me the end of the profit. Don't get excited for 3k profit as well as don't try to us very excited

Would have been helpful if the Hedge strikes would have been shared. Hedging definitely helps to stay in the position for longer.

My personal suggestion. I would not suggest hedging here because hedging reduces your breakeven and, in that case, you need to do more adjustments. If you do not do hedging, your breakeven range will be broader. You might say that risk is higher without hedging. You are right for short term strategies like weekly strategies. But for long term, personally I won't suggest hedging. You may pls do a paper trade and check for yourself if I am wrong. Create 2 paper trades - One with adjustments and another without adjustments. Irrespective of the market behavior do not do adjustments in a paper trade created with no adjustments. and on the other trade (with adjustments), close the position on the leg which gives 50% loss and create a new ATM position. Your straddle will become a strangle. Pls try.

@@csriram76 I Sincerely appreciate your detailed explanation & recommendations. I'm quite new to Options & do not have much practical experience. I agree with your suggestions but my fears come from an incident a couple of weeks back with a position I had in a trade with December expiry options and when I tried to square off my position one of the legs just wouldn't get squared off due to not ill-liquidity (which I found out later) so my profitable trade ended up in a considerable loss. So my concern is regarding a Black Swan event that might occur and how does one handle a position composed of long term options with a so called 'unlimited' loss potential? I'd welcome your suggestions/guidance on this as well as the case for carrying monthly options short straddles & strangles. Thanks a ton!

Hedge it bro. For ex- You wrote (sold) 19700 CE. Then to hedge it simultaneously purchase 19800 CE. Your P&L will be limited as well as margin money will be reduced, but the condition is that you have to execute it together.

But Mr Sundar why not you are expanding your domain from Call/Put (means trading) to some mid-long term capital appreciation as you are having analytical thoughts being Maths teacher, not everyone are having same. Moreover, most of the audiences are ofc going people not have time for trading. Hope you ll consider!
