I was in the waterski show Badwater Ski-Ters for 13 years. Saturdays were Barefoot and Jump practice. So many days like this. The wipeouts were brutal and sometimes they sent you home early but most days it was just so much fun.

That is the wosrt way to fall in my opinion. I have felt like I was going to before on some of those, but just had a massive heada he. My dad did break his neck recently barefooting backwards. Lucky to come away with a full recovery.

Mate it may not break ur neck, it just hurts so frickin bad. I’ve never seen people bare foot before and the kids are younger than me and are freaking awesome at this

The face plant at 40 mph ha doesn't get any better than the bare foot 👣 wipe out. The need for speed 😂

Man I remember the days practicing with Ron scarpa mike seiple banana George! We had one of the best ski centurion barefoot warrior comps around . Wish I could give it a try again just to see if I still got it!

I prefer to ski on a ski haha. I'm way too big a chicken for barefooting. I can only imagine crashes at 40, crashes at 30 are bad enough...

It can be, but ive never had a serious issue. Doesnt feel good though. The barefoot wetsuits have a pad in the chest back and butt area. It helps, but its always face first at 35+ mph. Had the wind knocked out of me once.

as cool as it looks i wont barefoot water ski cause i hate going barefoot, i will sink i can't swim well at all and it looks like it hurts ur feet. plus i would cry and be upset not passing

They can do it behind the boat but the boat makes a wake so the water isn’t as smooth as it is beside the boat.
