After watching you fly, I can’t wait to put my FW450 V3 into my Airwolf fuselage. Flying in ATT mode is a real blast. And GPS mode is a close second in my opinion.

Hey Ali, have you seen the new ESC available for the F450 V3? The CNC metal case now as cooling "groves" machined into probably due to overheating/failure issues. It looks cool too. The V2 ESC I have in mine has been fine and I had to reverse the motor for it to work so I am leaving as is for now....wasn't sure if Mr. Peng shared with you.

I'm a subscriber of your channel I've watched your assembly of the Airwolf from the FW 450 mod. I must admit I'm a little intimidated I'm handicap and an older man on eBay I can get a complete kit for around $1,200 but then there is a shipping charge that makes the total cost close to $1,500. Is this something I should consider or should I just watch your earlier video more closely and order a FW 450 GPS version 3 and do the mod myself?

Wings need side plates and a nice rear vertical stabilizer, as well as the guns. Wish I could CAD, but it escapes me, Ali can you make some 3d printable stuff for the Airwolf for us??

yes buddy. waiting for my new Bambulab X1 carbon 3D printer to arrive. then I will design these stuff for this helicopter and also for Huey UH1. and print to see how they look. What I thought to do is Guns on the side, missile pod on the bottom, vertical stabilizer and some antennas. will have to study the real airwolf again, gotta watch those awesome movies. big fan of airwolf. when I was a kid, never missed an episode

Ali, I have a couple questions for you, if you can answer them. Bought the Huey, it was flying good then took off turning it around and slammed into the wall on GPS, Ouch! it felt like a servo stuck the way it took off, fast! Does the tail motor have a lumpy or a cam feeling when you turn the blade? Can you put light oil on the servo ball arms where they connect so it will move smoother? Just waiting for parts, broke the blades and melted the teeth off the main gear of what i can see, don't know if it took anything else out yet tho, hence the lumpy tail motor. thx Brother

Fly ATT mostly, GPS glitches can be avoided this way. use GPS only for rescue when needed and switch back to ATT

Hi Ali, love your videos. I have a FW450v3 in a Airwolf shell and for some reason when I lift off the tail moves pretty violently to the left (looking from behind). No problems flying and it has really good tail authority. Any ideas what might be causing it? I have the software set to sport mode with 85% head speed.

@@alishanmao Lol, so I did some testing today and I think I was just jerking the tail when I was taking off. I was very deliberate about just moving the stick up and didn’t notice any real tail movement. Thanks again for the advice.

That’s too bad. I was going to get it but I’ll wait until someone comes up with that feature. I really don’t do 3D, I just like flying it scale and slow and gentle and smooth gentle and scale like takeoff and landing and hovering and gentle flying is what I desire. I think it fly’s awesome already with the GPS but just the takeoff and landing needs to be more scale like. Thanks for the response.

Hi. One thing i dont like on this heli is on gps mode when steering with speed it doesnt bank that much. But i noticed on your video that on att it banks more am i right?

on my Bell 206 the ATT mode dont lock the altitude Why ?? The ATT mode will be perfect if it is possible to set MAx angle More Than 45° ... 80°/90° will be perfect

assemble it properly, download the assist, double check everything works right. then compass calibrate, sticks calibrate the radio then stick calibrate the software. go out and fly

Bud without changeing the radio peramiters in the radio itself to 1400 how do you get it into att mode by flipping the switches ?what switches do you flip to get it into att mode?

you have to set your switch of your choice, then adjust parameters in radio so that switch will change flight mode channel values to switch your heli to ATT mode

Then I have to go into the radio to change things I did it on my 450v2 to att but on my other heli I screwed it up and reset now it does nothing and I even reminded it and nothing. @@alishanmao sad I've watched many of your vids on this subject but your not answering my question if I went in the radio and hit reset does that mean then none of the controls will not move unless you reprogrammed it all over again useing a computer which im and older person and not very smart at doing that I've followed many of your vids on it. Tried lots of things with no luck without hooking it up to a computer .how about making another video on this for a older dummy person otherwise this heli is for parts only I just purchased 4 separate fly wing helis and I'm hopeing I can fly them right out of the box .I love to fly many different ones so looking forward to ANY NEW INTERESTING VIDS ON PROBLEM SOLVEING ON THESE FLYWING HELIS THAT YOU CAN PUT OUT FOR OLDER PEOPLE THAT MAY HAVE PROBLEMS .I THANKYOU FOR YOUR TIME.BYE FOR NOW.

I did exactly as you explain in this Video Clip (3D-»ATTI=1400) so it was expected that my FW450 would actually maintain the Altitude BUT THAT IS NOT HAPPENING. If I don't control the "altitude" with the Colectivo, the Heli will fall to the ground, it doesn't lock the Altitude. Can my Friend give me an explanation for this? it is strange, it should maintain altitude. if its not doing it, that means its switching to 6G Mode where you have to control the altitude with Collective all the time. maybe do the calibrations again for radio and helicopter h1 after setting up new values

@@adriansullivan-q9i after you change settings in your radio channel values for ATT and other modes, you will have to calibrate your radio sticks using radio program and then connect your heli H1 to computer, power on the helicopter, and once you are connected do the sticks calibration using the assist program one more time. only then values will be stored in H1 and it will switch to corresponding modes. else you will have issues.
