Not about the Orca Two exactly, but about the Bluetooth connectivity. I'm not sure, but I think you and I got our BTE power hearing aids at about the same time (well, your most recent pair and my first pair)-about three years ago. My hearing needs are very specific, which I've mentioned before, but the only particular worth noting here is that I needed easy Bluetooth connectivity. Among the reasons my audiologist fitted me for Phonaks (after years of Starkeys) is that the Phonaks have exactly the multi-device connectivity you're talking about. It's not a new technology for hearing aids, but as of three years ago, at least, not all hearing aids had it. And I wonder if, in that regard, the Orca Two is an OTC pioneer. Because several years before THAT, in 2017, the Bose Hearphones had it too. And in being designed with two separate processors, controlled by two separate volume rockers, they allow you to adjust Real World sounds and Streaming Audio independently of each other. As far as I know, there *still* isn't a prescription hearing aid that lets you do that. Hearing aids, with a single processor, switch back and forth between Real World and Streaming Audio, and sometimes "decide" for you, which makes me crazy. The only streaming tech the Hearphones *don't* have is the ability to catch a signal from a telecoil or telecoil adapter, at the theatre. The Phonaks *will* do that, via the app. (I still use the Hearphones, still replace them with eBay vendor inventory [they'ree no longer expensive] - the sound is rich, the noise cancellation is amazing, and in some environments [especially when you're in a large room where sounds is really live and bouncy] they're actually better than the Phonaks for cutting through to what you need to hear, despite being general fit. Not to be confused with the later Bose RIC hearing aids which were not a step up and bizarrely *didn't* stream. At all. Oy, don't get me started…) The overall point being: Streaming versatility and multiple connectivity has been around for a while, in RICs, BTEs, and high end PSAPs. Maybe look into other OTC manufacturers that may also be offering the same.

Thank you for the review. Its difficult to find consumer reviews on these. Do you know if consumers can pay for them directly from their HSA/FSA? I'm guessing that you can listen to music and video/movies with them? How's the sound quality? Base? How natural does your own voice sound? How well does it do with tinnitus?

Is there any ongoing research into curing hearing? tinnitus?

Does anybody notice how cute Emily's voice is before wearing hearing aids and once she wear them after a few seconds the speech magically changes.. 🥹🤗
