How does the pressure of 0.5 hp booster pump for example can supply water in two hectares farm irrigation.. is the pressure enough? Im going to use it not only for irrigation but general purpose.. since i going to build a goat house i need enough pressure for cleaning the goat house and my worry is if i increase the horse power of the pump like 1 hp just to accomodate the pressure needed in the whole farm it might overload the 1.1kva solar power since were getting all the supply from it..
@myparadiseonbantayanisland90305 жыл бұрын
Are you talking about drip irrigation?
@lifeisprecious72225 жыл бұрын
Im talking about the pressure of 0.5 hp water pump if is enough give pressure around the farm for general purpose..
@myparadiseonbantayanisland90305 жыл бұрын
@@lifeisprecious7222 There are 2 types of pumps - pressure pumps and volume pumps, pressure pumps have low volume and high pressure - volume pumps have low pressure and high volume, so it depends which type you are talking about.

hi, good day....hope you can share the exact location of this farm? I'm just from Bogo and I'm planning to visit the farm just to observe and replicate his set-up. It will be a great help to have a model already running rather than doing test and error. If possible to have the contact number of sir Leo if okay, so that I can just arrange with him on his available time....thank you very much.

@myparadiseonbantayanisland90305 жыл бұрын
He pumps water into a tank on a hill on his property and uses the gravity pressure from the tank to run his drip system. He drips different sections of his farm at a time, he does not drip all his farm at the same time. He has water lines with several valves that he will turn off or on to drip each area. So you need a well and a pump that will pump enough liters/gallons per hour to keep your tank full when running your drip system. The pump needs to pump enough volume not necessarily pressure.
@myparadiseonbantayanisland90305 жыл бұрын
He also runs his water pump off his solar system so he has no electric bill for running the pump. His well also has to have enough water so the pump does not pump it dry. You can't use city water for a farm because it cost too much money for the water bill you must have a good well.

ariel campehios Yes I was using drip irrigation in the late 1980's but things are maybe 50 years behind the USA in many ways. Leo is the first and only person that I have seen here using drip irrigation and the only farmer to use solar that I have seen too and it is making a big improvement in his farm production.😊

@@staypositive6984 In Mandaue just on the north side of Cebu city there is a very large tree nursery that would probably have what most people would need for fruit trees. It looks like a mango farm with mango trees everywhere. It is on the national highway.
