This is the old railway bridge road. When the high tides come it floods. There were some kayakers and two paddle boarders this time.

I could sit and watch that daily. I have a odd love for watching the tide come in and watch things vanish under water.

Lovely video, does it flood everytime on high tide or just certain times of the year

Only on the really high spring tides. When the storms came it went over the railway lines. They often cancel the train if it is a high tide.

A few feet deep if it's a high tide

If you follow the river up, it's about halfway between Looe Bridge and Sandplace railway station.

Found it! My family and I stayed at looe caravan park a couple of years ago. I took them back after going there as a teenager. Polperro is lovely also.

@@R118GSiVVC Polperro is my home village. Amazing history and lots of secrets. I still keep finding old smugglers steps cut into the cliffs when Im out adventuring.

Yes, had a bit of wind behind it too. The highest I have ever seen was right over the railway line during the winter storms. Here is the video: Looe Flood & Storm Surge - Feb 14th 2014 Timecode 0:30
