Very informative. I wouldn't till the cover crop though. You'll mess up the soil structure and end up compacting the soil faster.

Myth!! You have to till a cover crop in under a high tunnel if your doing succession planting!! Please stop with all the false claims that tilling is bad, it's just B.S.!!!

The green stem coming from the watermelon is still quite green. When the stem coming directly from the watermelon turns brown or yellow, is that the time to cut it from where the stem comes out of the end of the melon? Also if the under belly is yellow, but the stem coming directly from the end of the melon is still green, is it ready to be cut?
