I really have no idea what to expect from this tournament. The tide will be a huge factor and I am not very experienced with tidal fisheries. I am just going to have to put my head down and go. It will also be one of the hottest days I have ever fished in. The actual temp will be 102 with a heat index of up to 110. Let's hope the fishing is just as hot.

Halfway into second period and don't recall seeing you boat flipping that much but under 2lbs, makes sense. Also, now have the birdcage song stuck in my head, "he works hard for his monies".... I live in Conway Ar. It’s bad hot here right now. But we’re still smashing them on the river. Game and fish is doing a major overhaul on lake Conway. Their goal is a trophy bass lake. They’re hoping for around 5 years from now it’ll be game on.

Check out that bass scent study, they say to not let sunscreen get on your baits. Bass absolutely hate it. I could tell on tv that you were over this tournament 😆. Great finish and looking towards the last lakes. Would love to see an AOY.

The scale has to lock to be official. So if the boat is moving or the fish is kicking it takes even longer.

It wasn’t about old school or new school it was more about knowledge of tidal fisheries. There are so many variables and the guys that had more knowledge and exposure to places like this really excelled.

😅😅😅😅😅 Man I'm up at 3:30 cuz I was so pumped I couldn't sleep. Load up and an hour drive to OKEECHOBEE. We do a Micky D's drive thru. For a breakfast biscuit. Then we spend our 100 bucks at the tackle store buying more stuff we don't need. 😅😅😅😅. By the time we are done it's time to go fishing. Safe light.. 😅😅😅 We all have our crazy schedule when it comes to weekend warrior tournament fishing.. I think it's hilarious how we bitch and carry on about getting up to go to work every day. But come Friday night you can't even sleep cuz you can't wait to hear that squeaky ol buzzbait blade and a huge explosion.. Why do we work 5 days and only get to live free enjoying our life for 2 days??? Should be the other way around.
