As someone with depression, I have never heard a song I can relate to more than this. Never knowing what the point of going on is when it feels like every minuscule task is a huge hurdle. For me at times the only thing that keeps me going is music. Find the thing that keeps you going. Thank you Casey for this beautiful song.

WOW, WOW, WOW! I think I'm in love. No...I KNOW I'm in love --- with that VOICE! OMG!!! WOW! I just heard you in the "I'm Not The Only One" Mash-up and had to search you. Your voice really stood out. Also, you have a certain aura about you. --- very inviting, calm, sweet and sad - all at the same time. --> So glad to also find you on iTunes and Amazon! ...apropos to a "catch your blessings" story... You know it's very funny --- I was just having this discussion with my two beautiful children (ages 12 and 9) about prayers and blessings. Often times we pray about our wishes, dreams, desires, plans and goals to come to fruition. The converse of that is we tend to not see (or accept) (mainly accept) the tools, people and situations (all which I call BLESSINGS) the universe bestow upon us and place at our feet to help us reach our stars (whatever they may be). I reminded my children that our prayers are answered even before we utter them. Our hearts' desires put into motion all that is required to help us attain our goals. We just have to be obedient to the paths laid out before us (and I also tell them -> often times those paths are lined with very hard work and repetition :-D). In the process of shifting and re-prioritizing certain things in my life, I prayed for clarity, strength and encouragement. For some reason I stumbled upon you (when I was really supposed to be focusing on researching music theory online :-). The universe knows what I need more than I do and right now it has given me -> you. Your voice immediately calmed my anxiety. I had to follow it. I briefly skimmed through the comments while jotting down this note and saw all the praises and raw emotions (You may be starting a movement here - just sayin' ;-). I hope you yourself realize that this GIFT you have been given is much bigger than you. Your Gift is a blessing to those who open up their hearts and receive it.
