@@drarijit sir yesterday aiims results were out and I can get opthalmology or ent at my rank in aiims delhi I just want to ask what should I opt with equal interest in both Also can give the exact estimate of salary will be getting after pg Also the saturation of these branches that I heard from many fellows And can the aiims tag will help me in practice Also I am more inclined towards jobs in government medical colleges It would be very great full if you can tell the exact minimum figures of salary in government or corporate set up

@@dr.nikhilaiimsdelhi9410 AIIMS tag always helps. Aiims’s ophthal is the best in India. Both are having very good future opportunities. If you like more of surgery then go for ENT. If lot of OPD loads with short procedures are fine with you, ophthal is good.

It depends on personal skills...all branches r equally important ....earning depends on skills...I have seen a lot of super specialists r struggling to get patients....so one thing one should keep in mind in super speciality branches no of PT also decreases ....& PT load z alwys more in rural & town areas....so it depends on the area where u want to practice....but m suggestion go to a branch where u have passion bcz all branches r excellent u can earn from any if u have skills....don't choose a branch where u have no interest or else u will suffer through the rest of ur life

@@ujjwalsethi6262 successful physician in any branch earn the most.. one should realize about interest on opd. neurosurgery,onco surgery,radiology interact much less with opd. if someone wants to use hand along with opd then "strong opd + procedure" is the best possible bet. on my experience i would say... 1.ortho 2.interventinal cadio 3.gastroenterology 4.urosurgery

It all depends on where you practice and what services you offer. You will always be in lead if your parents are doctors there is no doubt about it rest who start from scratch should keep in mind you need to be very patient with your success you are here for a test match of 10-15yrs to make name fame and good money until grind hard. Most importantly no need to compare just don't compare your income to your peers.

Mbbs is tough as hell unless you study regularly for the next 10 years, which involves both undergraduate and postgraduate. Becoming a neurologist is very tough. One of the most demanding seats currently in india And mostly those who completed mbbs , they usually don't prefer neurology.

@@drarijit ..sir one more thing...generally neurosurgeon who are interested in fellowship...doing his fellowship in spine surgery or cerebrovascular or gamma knife..but why not pediatric neurosurgery sir??..i mean in ctvs it's quite popular..like pediatric heart surgeon..but not in neurosurgery why?...is it too tough to become a exclusively pediatric neurosurgeon???..plzz rply

@@RajeshPal-dj9om No, we have dedicated pediatric neurosurgeons in India. Thing is, in India almost all neurosurgeons operate on kids. But, ya in coming days hopefully we will See more of dedicated practices.

Mine is cardiologist And the reason is that I find them cool 😂 My late grandfather had an open heart surgery 3 to 4 years be4 he passed away. For some reason being able to save people's lives like that is really cool to me

Hello Dr Arijit...Sir during my UG days Internal Medicine was always my dream branch , but after seeing that several of my batchmates & seniors who did their residency in Medicine are now overstresed and overburdened due to the nature of work..I am in my PG preparation phase and I am confused now that whether it's going to be a wise decision to take up Internal Medicine or should I settle for a non clinical branch. Kindly guide

See, medicine has its own charm. I myself was very interested in medicine especially Cardio/Neuro until Neurosurgery happened to my mind, where everything got changed. Residency should be hectic, so that rest of your life becomes better. So, it’s good. It should not be the deciding factor.

@Sam sp nope.. Ai can't even pick up the basics of radiology... And if ai does still you would need some professional to place a hallmark on the report and verify it... Because medicine involves people and it's a high-risk job.. Second, you can watch doctors in the radiology field working on developing new methods and discovering the effects of radiation on the human body... These things are r&d which is never to be replaced by ai without the involvement of professionals in that area.. Aeroplanes have autopilot.. So why do we need pilots? Because the machine does fail and if they do they can't think like humans... Radiology is r&d type branch.. Most corporate hospitals have r&d in radiology... Be it 15 years or 100 .. Ai replacing anything which involves a responsibility factor for someone's life is fairyland tales.. Ai can't even replace drivers.. Let alone someone who is professional and knows radiology physics and lots of deep stuff...

i wud request u to go with what brings interest in u…. i have seen phenomenal ctvs surgeons in my career… though d charm is bit dim but there is no place where there is no demand of CTVS surgeon….. go for it if u wish to

stay away from ctvs. There are no patients, ctvs has been left redundant by cardiology.

If doctor do so much hours of shift, no deep REM sleep, forget to eat sometimes....how a human can live like that.... health issues nahi hota ha kya? I really want to know how it works because medical science says to sleep atleast 6-7hr but doctor pulling off 36hr shifts😑

Hi, i wanted to know what is the cut off for manipal mbbs? And does each student have to pay 70L for the course irrespective of the neet score? I mean a person scoring 500 and another scoring 600 will have to pay the same amount?

Its 80 lakh now and yes you have to pay that much irrespective of your score as it is a private college not a government college

If you want to study in govt college then go for abroad MBBS that are under 35lakhs.. why to pay double 🤣 i am currently in pursuing MBBS in Ukraine..can help if you want

Metro cities 1-1.2 lacs beginning.. max 2 lacs per month… tier 3 cities 4-5 lacs per month… but the best part is anaesthesiologist have the best work life balance and earning sources beside hospital income. I know few anaesthesiologist who earn 15-20 lacs per month and get more time to chill with their family than other specialty.
