I had tried Dark Souls when it came out, the first place i went to was Blight town .... got super rekt and gave up. I didnt realize I had to go the city up the stairs first .... im so glad i watcehd your runs D9 .... i just started playing again and I love it! ... just finished hydra myself

After having flirted with the Dark Souls series (and promptly giving up on the gargoyles) years ago, it was Day9's remastered series that got me back into the series. Both through a combination of his sheer enthusiasm for the game mechanics and world building that From put in the game, and from the realisation that if he could finish this game, I definitely could xD

Shortsword? Uhm...no? Why in the hell would you think shortsword is easiest? For a light sword, go broadsword. Stun lock for days, kill every boss in the game easily with broadsword. For a bit slower weapon, just grab the claymore and dance through the game. But shortsword?? Do people still not realize how powerful the broadsword actually is? Early game weapon...and almost nothing tops a +15 broadsword. The most basic looking, boring sword - and it's still the best. And screw the longsword fans, lol. Broadsword is still better.

I've always wanted the end credits for a Dark Souls game to show a montage of your deaths. Maybe not all of them, but at least one per general area/boss. I think it could be fun.
