UBOAT
UBOAT is a simulator of a submarine from WWII era, yet different than all you have seen so far. It is a survival sandbox with crew management mechanics while its primary theme is the life of German sailors. The boat is their home, but it can become their grave at any time.
In UBOAT you control the crew in order to control the boat. You look after their physical and mental health because if the sailors are hungry, tired and their spirit is low, there’s no chance of winning even a skirmish.
Survival
The extensive damage system is a foundation of the game's survival elements. Unprecedented situations are bound to happen as the effect of received damage, testing the player's creativity and ability to stay calm. You can try to save the whole crew or leave someone behind, to save the others.

Yup, audio seems to by synched at the start, then something happened to make it very out of synch.

I am a huge fan of the original NES game silent service. Unfortunately the console world there are no sub simulators. Not sure what it takes to run this game but I am unwilling to spend big money on a PC. So I get my fix by watching your videos.

A sub would not stop while at sea because the control planes would no longer be effective and the boat would not remain on a level keel.

It's almost like submarines have ballasts.

@@Adierit It's like, ballast is constantly changing with fuel usage, crew position and weapons expenditures. It's like the trim tanks would have to be critically tuned each time the boat stops and that took about half an hour each time the boat was brought to a stop.

@@Ayou46 hate to break it to you bud, but submarines don't roll over and sink if their engines die, this is because they can use the ballasts to establish neutral buoyancy, allowing them to float, and as subs are designed to be bottom heavy, they stay upright, how do you think those subs surface in the arctic if your silly and completely baseless claims had been true?

The first person in this game needs work. As buggy and a mess as SH5 was it had a very smooth first person experience. The having to exit first person to a side view anytime you're performing a task with that character makes it feel sloppy. You get disconnected from the character so much and it's currently not possible to give all types of orders to crew in FP mode. Like the lights, have to be manually turned off and on or the same with loading torpedos which has to be clicked on in person and manually. SH5 didn't make me feel blind and claustrophobic but with how this game functions I feel useless in first person mode.
